It's a small detail, but I really like the way Bocksa speaks. You can tell he's way more intelligent in his words and reasoning skills (his whole hypotesis about the future stanger being an enemy of the saiyans). Also, Bocksa seriously feels like a regular person. He actually has interests beyond martial arts, and that alone makes him a more fleshed out character.

Keeping Piano around is one of the most interesting aspects of this What If. I think with him also getting the revelation about his Namekian heritage, it would be really interesting for him to survive long enough to want to go to Namek (possibly to revive his brother Piccolo) and realizing how unusual he is for a Namekian in the process. With him being more of a Dragon type Namekian - who knows? Maybe he'll end up as Kami's successor instead of Dende.

No. Piccolos children were all Demon Clan Nemakians. There were once many many clans. But after the cataclysm. Guru focuses on the Dragon and Warrior clans.

@@cobaltlance18 I really hope at some point we get a bit of an arc surrounding Piccolo and the namekians exploring how different clans work. Warrior and Dragon are kinda self-explanatory but we know they must have had good engineers considering the nameless namekian reached earth on a spaceship functioning centuries later. We know the demon clan exists and Demon clan can't be entirely evil since Piccolo becomes good (though after he becomes good, he never creates more demon clan namekians). There's at least 2 unexplored clans, perhaps more, we could see. Just seems like an unexplored avenue. Could even give us an interesting namek specific fighting style by producing demon clan offspring and having them fight enemies. Sure, king Piccolo's were a bit on the weak side for modern dragonball but King Piccolo himself was bested by Goku who was nowhere near current strength. Perhaps demon clan wasn't even really a demon clan and was more of a Summoner clan to make servants, would explain why the demon clan looks so different to traditional namekians and why the demon clan members seem to unquestioningly follow King Piccolo's orders while other namekians can disobey Guru.

Always thought it was a tragic waste that none of Piccolo's kin outlived him besides Jr. The drama between the brothers is a welcome sight to play out, and I hope it remains a factor as this saga plays out!

Here are some what if ideas to get the creative juices flowing. 1. What if Kami trained Roshi and Crane after there master Motieto sealed Demon king Piccolo the first time. Or at least offered. 2. What if the 2 year limit on the time chamber was not due to you getting stuck in it. But rather, when using it you age according to the flow of time outside the time chamber for the first 2 years. After the first 2 years in it, when in the time chamber, you age according to it's flow of time. And you also start running the risk of aging as though you where in the time chamber even if you aren't in it. Reducing any remaining lifespan to a few months. Unless you are immortal or have eternal youth at least. Oh, and the time chamber can't be fixed. Just a natural hazard of using it. 3. And, what if there were space pirates attacking earth periodically throughout dragon ball. It is not under Freezes control yet and the galactic patrol give me a rather ineffective or lazy feal. So where are the pirates? Is earth just that unappealing? Do they believe it has nothing of value due to the low power levels on the planet?

It is an odd detail in Dragonball's universe. Earth is often talked about by aliens as if it's useless and has no good points, yet the planets they do favour are almost barren wastelands that can barely support life? What about our planet being able to support so much life makes it less appealing than planets you'd struggle every day just for a sip of water on?

Nice to see a what-if take its time here! This one's still pretty unique, but a couple comments: If it'd make him feel any better, Piano ISN'T a regular Namekian. King Kai could have tools, sure, but would it be a better scene for him to pop in a wrench? I think Nappa might actually be in for it here. Yeah the only thing you have is Yamcha being a baseball player and Krillin becoming a cop. But the former is not seen that much, only in filler at the beginning of Z. And the latter you actually kinda see in Super.

Wouldn't Jaco be able to at least beat Nappa? I'd say he would considering he cut through Frieza's men in RoF (with PL's of 2000 each) like they were butter. Nappa's strong, but I can't see him being able to do what Jaco did. He was actually trying against 4 fighters in the 1000-3000 range, meanwhile Jaco effortlessly took out hundreds of fighters in the 1000-2000 range. Jaco has to be at least Saiyan Saga Vegeta level to be able to do that.
