My interpretation of Goku without head bump would be different. I would say he would still be normal as he has warrior heart of Bardock and gentle soul of Gine but a bit more prideful in himself with memory of Saiyan. I would say Goku would be more curious about his race and knew about Frieza early through Dragonball during one of time skip and upping his training early because he knew about Frieza early would make him also prepare for Frieza early.

i always disagreed with this kind of timeline. I don't think saiyans are naturally violent or evil, but more of a morally bankrupt culture that drags people into being bad. I think it is pure nature vs. nurture, and vegeta is proof that nurture is ultimately the only real factor. Vegeta was a violent killer his entire life because he was steeped in that culture. he destroyed entire planets full of innocent people, but once he found earth it only took a few years for him to become a loving husband, father, and friend simply because he was immersed in a gentle and kind culture. he found his peace there, which would be impossible for someone who was evil at their core. Of course he kept some of his evil ways, but more because they were already ingrained in his personality by that point than because they were baked in to his DNA. Bardock is another prime example which proves that saiyans, even steeped in the warrior culture, are not naturally cold blooded killers. so no. I don't think Goku would have turned out much different. the head bump might have taken the edge off a bit, but I don't believe it caused as big of a personality change as people think. certainly not enough to change the course of his life so profoundly

Goku wasn’t inherently evil, he was just rowdy, there are parts of this that would maybe hold true, but especially since he never properly met other Sayians he wouldn’t just be a conqueror by nature, he was kind hearted yes partly because of Gohan and the head bump, but also both of his actual parents were kinder and more caring than most other Sayians, so I don’t think he’d be as evil as you’re painting him out to be, although he might would join up with Raditz and the other Sayians which would lead him down a darker path, but even that’s still a might because it’s possible he would’ve become attached to the people of earth

When Vegeta transformed into a super Sagan in dbz he clearly states that his heart was pure of hatred for Goku when he transformed. In the OG story it was the Anger that did it, being mentioned time and time again by the main characters, Goku teaching Gohan to transform er cetera. Yes toriyama did retcon it with super to have the Sagan’s from universe 6 turn super Sayan without the anger outburst however it was Vegeta pissing off cabba making him angry causing the transformation. Gohan against Cell going super sayan 2 … Goku against Frieza going super sayan. Goku was mad as F, Gohan started toying with Cell enjoying the power. Hell even his recent Beast form. Goku def would have been able to transform in this what if.

In the Bardock, The Father of Goku continuity evil Kakarot is possible! In canon DB Minus/DBS continuity, Kakarot would probably just be an uncivilized wild child with bad table manners waiting for his parents to come get him (Bardock did make it clear he would go get Kakarot if the Saiyan Genocide feared never occurred as his intention was to send him off to Earth without authorization & direct violation of the Frieza Force return order which only Prince Vegeta's group was allowed to defy without having a kill squad sent after them as Toyotarou's interpretation which had the rest of Bardock's squad wiped out by Team Dodoria likely to avoid a plothole involving Bardock's bandana which is canon to the DBZ manga flashbacks from the Frieza Saga when Frieza notes Goku's resemblance to Bardock) if they didn't get snuffed out which Kakarot may have overheard! Mind you the only reason Raditz & Vegeta thought Kakarot was an infiltration baby was due to it being standard practice for low class soldiers & Gine had used that as a cover story to tell Raditz where Kakarot was as she contacted him via Scouter but got away with it likely due to the confusion surrounding the Genocide ans the fact Kakarot was of little concern due to his low power level & the possibility he could still be eliminated by one of Earth's inhabitants due to his inexperience! Mind you the only time in the canon manga that Kakarot is shown with Grandpa Gohan pre-head injury is in Jaco the Galactic Patrolman (which DB Minus is actually a prequel to as Jaco's mission is to eliminate the young Saiyan to protect Earth not knowing his parents sent him to Earth due to Bardock's fears of Frieza's planned Genocide)! In this one scene which shows Kakarot in his Saiyan Armor squatting on the table in the Elder Gohan's hut eating meat buns showing how uncivilized he is by squatting on the table instead of setting on a nearby chair! While he is visibly annoyed with Grandpa Gohan (possibly due to being defeated off panel and/or due to him deciding to name the boy Goku as Kakarot apparently isn't old enough to speak) but is mostly placated by the plate of food showing that Kakarot like Goku has always enjoyed food even before the head injury which fits with Saiyans usually being big eaters! It should be noted the scenes in the anime that accompany Roshi's retelling of how he was found and raised by Grandpa Gohan do not appear in the original manga & DB Minus makes it clear Kakarot was at least 3 years old & was wearing kid sized Saiyan body armor when he first arrived on Earth (note: the original anime based Kakarot's appearance as that of a baby due to a thought balloon of Raditz which shows Kakarot as a baby (note this doesn't contradict the canon as the Granolah Saga reveals Raditz was present on Planet Vegeta around the time of his brother's birth before Bardock's mission to Cereal, as he can be seen in the background which insects fight with other kids as Bardock comes home before Gine introduces Bardock to Kakarot, so the last time Raditz probably saw Kakarot was when he was still a baby! Roshi also refers to him as a baby though this may be due to Saiyans tendancy to appear young that Earthling due the Saiyan race's physical prime lasting longer) which was the only image of the pre-head injury Kakarot in the original manga, as Jaco the Galactic Patrolman & DB Minus were made after the manga/anime, DBZ, & GT had ended! Mind you the Granolah Saga implies Kakarot was always good and that the head injury didn't really do anything beyond memory loss, however if Kakarot's memories were retained there is no idea how that might effect his personality! Goku noted to 17 in DBS that he learned morality from his Grandpa Gohan (which was simply reinforced under the teachings of Master Roshi, Grandpa Gohan's form teacher) & had his memories stayed intact he would have known of his Saiyan heritage which wouldn't make him necessarily evil as Bardock despite having committed many genocides in his day was still a good father & husband to his wife not unlike Vegeta is in the modern day! Bardock was constantly saving Gine a fellow low class who often found herself in trouble due to her gentle spirit making her unsuitable for the battlefield life & the two fell in love a novel thing in Saiyan society! Personally I think the old Tree of Might theory that Goku would have end up like Turles had he had he not lost his memory due to head trauma making him a good person (which sends a bad message)! Instead the current origin leaves open the possibility that he might only be slightly different from the Goku we know, due to remembering his parents & his heritage as a Saiyan!

However he would still know the kamehameha. The reason why: In the original Goku learned how to do it after seeing master Roshi use it for the first time. It can be safely assumed Roshi in this what if would use his most powerful signature technique in the fight against Kakarot. Kakarot would notice the power of the Kamehameha and it’s potential in a fight. And since he mastered it after only seeing it being used once in the original, it would be the same case here.

Due to Goku’s mother being Gine, I always disagree with this kind of theories. A Saiyan’s nature is far more prone to being violent, yes, but if that was the sole factor determining a Saiyan’s personality, his mother wouldn’t have been so kind and non-fighter Saiyans wouldn’t exist. I highly believe that Goku would be much like Bardock, and we know that Bardock literally fought to save a bunch of slug kids (and turned Super Saiyan at that, too) it just took some work to get acquainted. Goku would be more serious, less merciful, probably unworthy of the flying Nimbus, but he would still be kind (Especially considering he HAS to inherit from his mom too), he would still turn out to be a Hero.

We don't know for sure that Goku would be evil. He would still be raised with moral Earth values by Grandpa Gohan. Now, he would definitely be less silly, more violent, and angry. But that doesn't translate into murderous planet destroying savage. I think he would still befriend Bulma and begin the journey we know. He would just have a personality closer to that of Vegeta after he reformed. He was still a baby after all. He wouldn't remember being a Saiyan any more than the Goku we got

If goku didn’t fall on his head and become who we know him as then he never would have had any of the opportunities or learned any of what he did. Being who he is is what paved the way for everyone else around him. His love and passion is why he never stopped growing. Fighting for the people he loves and for the love of fighting is why he always wins. He probably never would have trained. He would probably never even have been stronger than vegeta he only defeated vegeta the first time because he learned kaioken. He only learned kaioken because he was so pure and worthy enough to meet king Kai. The only thing I disagree with video is beerus never would wake up with a dream of super saiyan god. The problem with your version it gives no room for kakarot to grow as a person he just kills kills kills and dies. Remember Bardock wished for his sons to live and prosper so surely that might have an effect on the story of dragon ball even if he didn't bump his head. You get a 3/10
