In my head, the Buu saga is a separate anime/show. I despise the saga so much but when I think about it in that separate way, I enjoy it for what it is. Goku should’ve stayed dead and maybe come back for super that’s it. I’m not saying Gohan be the hero but it would’ve been better seeing everyone else try and survive just imagine all the possibilities and more screen time for others! Bringing Goku back was the easy way out. Still love Goku though nonetheless.

@Qaaman You missed out on some certain key points in your video that I think were crucial to bring up. 1. Gotenks would never have existed, 2. No one would have ever known Ssj3 was a thing, 3. the bond between everyone would have been A lot weaker in my opinion because there would be no reason for everyone to get together and see each other again, 4. ultimate/ mystic Gohan wouldn't exist because the elder would have never unlocked Gohan's full potential, 5. The idea of potara fusion would have never been known about so Kabito kai and vegito wouldn't exist, 6. the relationship with Mr. satan and the Z-fighters would have been A lot weaker and insignificant, 7. Fusion Reborn might not have happened at all or it would have been a different version/style of it, and I think the most important point is would all the Z-fighters be stronger,weaker, or the same without Goku coming back to earth? I hope you get the chance to look at this @Qaaman and maybe respond back to this because I would love to hear your input on it. P.S. Meh, I don't know. 18 could still have found out that Gohan was entering the WMAT and get the idea of her and Krillin entering too for the price money. It's a possibility. But what would have happened IF Bobbity was still able to gather enough energy and Buu was still eventually released? Granted, it would have taken longer but wouldn't that still be a possible outcome. After all Goten and Trunks are supposed to have all of these great potential too. Vegeta would still go to the tournament because he wanted to fight Gohan to prove to himself that he is now more powerful than him, and only he later shifted his focus to Goku when Goku said he was coming there, and Vegeta would never miss a chance to watch his son beat Kakarot's son, Piccolo would certainly not compete because in the original scenario Gohan called him because of Goku, and in this new scenario only Vegeta would be present. Then at the tournament it would probably happen that Gohan rushes to save Vidal, and the Supreme Kai stops him, Vegeta would ask what is happening and after listening to the explanation Vegeta would be interested in the story of the whole situation, so he might follow the Supreme Kai because he would be curious. Piccolo would appear after he would have felt that Gohan fell from the Super Saiyan power level close to death, and Kibito would inform him about everything so Piccolo and Gohan would go with him, and catch up with the Supreme Kai followed by Vegeta. Then they would easily agree on who would fight whom, regardless of whether Piccolo would have better reflexes in avoiding the spit because Vegeta would definitely fight Dabura and Boo wouldn't happen at all. Now as far as the tournament is concerned it can happen as explained in the video, but it can also be said that Goten and Trunks would be more curious of what is happening when they see Piccolo fly out of nowhere, and go together with Gohan in the direction where Vegeta flew away, so they would probably not stay and would go after the others, and they would be disqualified like the others who flew away so Mr Satan would beat the other contestants because they were nothing special. When Beerus appears here Vegeta would not be a family man, and as peaceful as when Beerus appeared in the original scenario, because this time he still has that anger towards Goku, and Vegeta did not overpower him and win the fight as he wanted against him while Goku was alive, and when Beerus appears Vegeta would be more arrogant here and provoke Beerus because he was the one who embarrassed his father's royal blood, and at this time Vegeta thinks that he must have surpassed Goku and Gohan in strength, so King Kai's warning wouldn't mean anything even if it happened in this scenario because Vegeta doesn't know how strong Goku is, and the conflict between him and Beerus would happen all the same, Vegeta would lose and Beerus would destroy the planet Earth out of frustration, and disappointment so everything would be destroyed. Zamasu wanted to destroy all mortals because of the Future Trunks and his time travel, so the only thing that would be different would be that Zamasu would possess someone else's body or he would be doing everything in his own body, we only don't know when he would start his plan, but Goku was not the reason for his plan, but just an example of the powerful body that Zamasu wanted to have as his sword to make his plan succeed, or he would just wish for immortality and his plan would work, which means that Future Trunks has failed as well as his future.

Oooh oooh, but Goku stayed dead forever, Veget would have never gone Majin, as you pointed out, BUT that whole schpeel changed Vegeta, having a major impack on his character. He still trained a lot during those 7 years that Goku was dead. Bulma comments on that and how little he helps out around the house. She also comments that he's changed and there's been something different since he fought Buu. That arc has a HUGE impact on Vegeta's character/personality. Also, the Universe 6 Saiyans also wouldn't have ever gone Super Saiyan if the Tournament of Destroyers never happened, which happened because of Goku. We'd have no Fusion at all, which I know a LOT of people loved abou the Buu saga and is some of their favorite parts of DBZ. I know you touched on that but yeah, no Gotenks either. I can't remember if you included him. Gohan also wouldn't have gotten that power up from Elder Kai either. Granted, long run that didn't really make a difference but Mystic Gohan was pretty darn cool. One last thing, let's say Gohan and jumped in and stopped (pardon the spelling) Spokavich before he had beaten Videl to the point where she had to be hospitalized and was able to continue fighting in the tournament, maybe Mr. Satan would have lost to his own kid. That would have been kind of funny. I mean, he could play it off as he let his daughter win because she's his kid, wanted to pass the reigns down to her, etc. but Videl probably would have realized that she's actually a lot stronger than her dad and that could have changed things on her end.

I don't think Baby would have went to Earth to track down the remaining saiyans since i thought that Baby learned of the location from when he briefly possessed trunks therefore with no trunks in space for baby to possess if Baby was completed he probably would have scoured the universe jumping from planet to planet looking for any trace of remaining saiyans and what are the odds baby would have ended up on earth before coming to the conclusion that all the saiyans are extinct and give up on his search?
