No that's not happening so you can just relax. Nothing travels through time. Time is a mental construct of mans mind. Time is not a physical thing that can be manipulated nor can it be a medium. It is understood that conceptually we are simply allowing time to pass but nothing actually ever moves through time. Nothing can move through a mental construct of a mans imagination especially one that is based on a light in the sky.

Gravity behaves “strangely” in that it's powerful enough for the Earth to attract a massive object like our Moon but is so weak that we can easily counteract the gravity of an entire planet by jumping.

You stated that when Newton saw the apple drop from the tree it was because it was heavier than the medium it was in. So if I had a room that I took all the air out and had an apple hanging from the top of that room and cut that cord the apple would stay there? It would not fall? I think it would fall.

So just like everything else in motion, time flows unless its acted upon by another force, which is mass. Time slows down around objects and drags everything into it. If moving sideways slows time down, I wonder if that's the mechanism that keeps things in orbit around a planet?

Well that that's not what keeps things in orbit around our planet. What keeps them in orbit is that we have gotten them to a height and speed, whereas the acceleration of gravity from the Earth is not able to overcome their velocity around the planet. Because the farther you go away from the center of mass of an object. The smaller it's gravitational force on that object. It's the same reason why we have to ensure that clocks in the GPS satellites in orbit are properly adjusted to take into account the lower pool of gravity and hence the very slightly slower speed of time

I feel like that this video is just going to confuse the shit out of people. Because unless you explain what relativity is nobody's going to understand it. Like yeah, the earth is traveling through space and it's spinning it thousands of miles an hour but so is everything else on the earth so that acceleration cancels out. That's why we can fly planes and drive cars. Because we're not going thousands of miles an hour 60 mph to go 60 because everything else is moving at thousands of miles an hour as well. There would be a real easy way to find out that this is really happening. If you could stop the Earth from spinning all the water and the air and everything else would just keep going in the direction that they had been going because of their momentum.

@@areuokay4984 My point is you only believe Earth is spinning because someone told you it was. You have never seen it spin with your own eyes. You have never felt it spin. The claim is it spins at 1040 mph at the equator and something like 700 mph in the USA. It is claimed to spin west to east. We see the sun "rise" in the east therefore and "set" in the west. Landing on a north south runway while Earth is traveling 700 mph perpendicular to your runway would be impossible. Your craft would be instantly destroyed and of yes, those forces would not only have to be felt they would be measured. We experience none of that.

@@areuokay4984We observe most physical matter falling down to the ground if they are released above the ground. This act of falling is what most people deem gravity. So we have an observation that most things but not all as in physical gas particles seem to obey but this tells us Nothing about the cause of the observed phenomena. Who's gravity would I believe in? Newton never claimed mass attracting mass (which is claimed to be a force) but others have taken his thought experiments he expressed in the language of math to mean that is what Newton suggested. So on one hand we have mass attracting mass which can never work. Physical gas shows us mass does not attract mass. On the other hand we have an Einsteinian spacetime effect called gravitational accretion (which is Not a force). This was never observed ever, it was only a mathematical construct Einstein proposed because Newtons mass attracting mass went against Einstein's general relativity ideas. But of course Einstein's form of gravity only being a thought experiment and never observed in reality cannot be the cause of the downward observation. That would be silly. Neither of those ideas Newtons or Einstein's has been nor can ever be validated by the systematic cause and effect experimentation of the scientific method - therefore there is No Proof for those ideas. None, Zero, Nada. Those ideas are fairytales. What does work and can be tested and validated via the scientific method for cause and effect relationship? Archimedes Principle. It's that simple. It works always in any medium. It's testable, repeatable. When we speak of fluids like water we call it Archimedes Principle. When we speak of the relationship between mass/weight buoyancy and density, we call it Relative Density Disequilibrium. That's what gravity really is. No need to make up silly notions that are never able to be validated, we already had the answer for thousands of years. Newton was an alchemist and not a very good one. He was kinda a dummy as was his pal Einstein. They didn't bother to do actual research or they did know about Archimedes Principle and kept quiet about it to push their own agendas.

Not all physical matter falls to the ground. Gravity, whatever you think it is, has zero effect on gas. Gas expands in all directions to fill the available volume. The behavior of gas is governed by entropic law. You may know this better as the 2nd law of thermodynamics. There are No reversible systems in nature. Gas, cannot fail to expand due to entropy. It cannot reserve itself. Gas as shows on Earth at ground level where gravity is strongest, can never stay put on the Earth. There is zero force of "gravity" attracting gas. This destroys your mass attracting mass idea and also, your Einsteinian spacetime gravitational accretion idea.

@@christopherprisco8690 It's a gas. All gases bar none, even heavy gasses like sulfur hexafluoride or argon can be 'poured' out and will pool but only for a short time. They too in time will expand to fill the available volume. Entropy is defined as a rate of change over time. "Gravity" cannot hold any gas to the Earth. That's Never Ever been demonstrated and it would violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
