Making GTA 6 less edgy and woke is straight up stupid. It's dumb for developers and investors. Let's think why - it all breaks down to who the main audience is. If the best AAA devs in the entire world mess up a full 12 years of development sponsored by 2 Billion dollars, it will be the end of gaming for most people. But they would have to mess up BAD, because millions of people will still play if it's mid, simply because they'll cope themselves into playing it. There will definitely be A fair share of people who have certain things that didn't live up to their expectations, mostly because of unjustified hype, but this game will most certainly exceed expectations and definitely deliver well beyond anything we are all thinking. If this game sucks, then Rockstar is through. They had us waiting 10 years for the next installment and it failed? That's not going to happen. This game has been anticipated for over a decade, and rockstar pours everything they can into making brilliant games. There is no way that GTA VI will suck: 1) Rockstar have been developing this game for 10 years 2) They gathered all the datas and experiences of GTA V and it's 11 years of GTA online upgrades. 3) GTA V came out for PS3 and X360 when they were at the end of their life cycle so the game's potential actually had to be limited quite a lot. GTA VI on the other hand is getting released while the PS5 and Series X are right in the middle of their lifespan so they won't represent a huge development limit for Rockstar. 4) Rockstar admitted that GTA V was not developed while thinking of GTA Online so the fact that GTA VI has been developed while keeping this in mind will already make it's online mode way better. With that being said, some people are just never going to be satisfied because their standards and expectations are just ridiculous. The game is going to be incredible but there are always going to be idiots claiming "this game sucks!! GTA V was better, I was expecting more I am so disappointed". Just to give an example, I am already reading around comments of people expecting EVERY SINGLE BUILDING of the map to be enterable. Those who know anything about videogames, software and development know that's just not even remotely possible with today's technology.

The main point of emphasis in the story mode need to be the immersion. As long as the world has more interiors we can interact with freely, I can't see it being bad. I do hope they add more side activities as well similar to what Ubisoft did in WD2. I don't like the idea of feeling like the game has no content outside of the story missions. If they do those two things I think it could be one of the best games in the last 20 years.

GTA 5 and RDR2 both have gimped single players because of their online modes. GTA 5 has only 4 cars per character, and RDR2 doesn't has limited bounties in single player for example. Neither game got any single player DLC either. This is all because Rockstar wants you online and buying shark cards, whereas they only profit from you buying the game itself once. I expect all of that in GTA6, they question is to what extent will it affect the experience.

There is so much at stake excluding the investors and thousands of people who invested almost 12 years and unthinkable sacrifices to accomplish GTA 6. GTA 6 is not going to suck financially. It's going to break sales records on release day because there are simply too many people who have drunk the R* Kool-Aid and will pre-order the game. Millions will camp outside video game stores so they can be the first several hundred to get their hands a physical copy of the game. Warning signs are everywhere that this game is going to be trash, yet so many people are blindly having faith in R*. They seem to think that the company is the same as it was when GTA 5 was in development. I don't think it's possible that GTA 6 could suck. However, it is possible that some elements of the game could be a disappointment. I think the problem with Cyberpunk was that CDPR tried to build a game too big and bit off more than they could chew. That would be my concern with GTA 6, that they want to make this bigger than GTA5 and RDR2 and try to do so much that some elements of the game end up suffering. They also know that fans have been waiting so long and don't want any major delays so they might rush some parts of it. I think it's more likely that it turns out to be the best game of all time, but you never know, 1 small problem will be considered a major problem since everyone expects it to be perfect

I dont think its possible to F this up. 2 bilion $ is just so much money and R* has a good brand so I do not see way how to F this even if half of origin staff is gone. Just make some open world, vehicles, npc and ragdoll physicks and I will be happy. Of course game will be much more, but what we saw in trailer is more then enough for me. I do not understand need for a lot of enterable buildings. That 70 % leak guess, are we talking only about ground floors or a whole building? For me, some reasonable public place like restaurant, library, kino etc... would be nice, but I do not need a lot of them or private one.

$2 billion is on the line. No gaming company has invested such an amount in a game. So i doubt it will fail. Rockstar will definitely want to profit from GTA6, and the only way that will happen is creating something mind-blowing, something valuable that will last for the next 20yrs

I think for the whole parody thing, gta 6 will most likely focus on the hypocrisy and the degeneracy of social media rather than making fun of politics (since left and right are easily triggered). It will most likely feature like a parody of andrew tate and the alpha males rising, tik tokers doing anything for clout etc... It's too risky to criticize both conservatives and liberals in our modern day context for rockstar so that's probably how they're going to do it. It won't be edgy as vice city or san andreas, but it will be worth it and will fit our actual world.

from track record... i stopped after vice city. cause it was pretty much crap. they never have good graphics or even game play. the gun play was a joke. the hookers sucked, haha its just not really good. and imo it helped usher in terrible games we get regularly now days. i think rockstar has taken everyone to the cleaners for a long freakin time

Personally my hype for this game has long been gone. I think for the first couple of months it will be the game everyone's talking about. But I have a feeling like most of the big games. That after a while. It will 💧 like most of the big games out there and it will slowly be like, when will R* release gta 7 and what can we expect on a new next Gen console

Nah for real bro if GTA VI sucks won't happen but still it would be mostly realism than like let's say GTA IV and more fun realism than GTA IV but the things would be okay if most of the buildings/towers won't collapse because of an RPG it's because let's say that we had 9/11 and the two planes crashed into twin towers which I am saying here not for (REMAKE) just for example of destruction and like we said rockstar won't make most buildings, areas, or towers collapses of RPG rocket launcher because I think it's because not about technology it's about having them placed the buildings and towers in the game of Leonida vice city so it has to be mostly collision so the game environment will be fun but just saying some structures like fences or other things like walls or other objects can be destroyed which is still a high realism will be as I said. But for conclusion GTA VI will still be so much fun for a lots of days when it releases and don't worry guys and also it's 2 billion dollar game that's why.

Once when gta 6 comes out rockstar games will remake the map 🗺 the gameplay and even missions from the ground up and release one by one like gta 3 vice city San Andreas liberty city and vice city stories gta 4 lost and damned and battle of gay Tony 8 classic gta video game to get a huge remake. And no more island restrictions anymore. And Tommy Vercetti and Claude speed swim for the very first time in a grand theft auto video game 🎮 in history. What frustrates me is when Niko pass the island restrictions it has 6 stars and it frustrates me. There’s a video by grade a under a and I want grand theft auto to have skip ⏭ mission just like gta 5 and red dead redemption 2 has skip ⏭ mission.
