Alex I've noticed That videos called "what if hoi4 started in xxxx". For example "what if hoi4 started in 1914" got nearly 200k views while the ones you made recently that weren't got much less than that. Maybe just a coincidence. Maybe if your doing a different game try doing something like "what if the USSR failed to protect moscow" (from your total tank stimulator video)

For a bit of new fan feedback; I definitely do come and enjoy the HOI4 videos. Your channel was recommended to me when I was watching several during a week, and I found yours was certainly the most comedic. It isn't the most informative, and it doesn't need to be, but you're having fun and your character makes the content a nice easy watch. If I was watching FeedbackGaming or something it'd be more of a hard watch, where I'm pausing a lot to examine what he's doing because he's got a lot more tutorial stuff. Videos with a theme are fun, I definitely like challenges, but you do what feels like works man. Hopefully the rambly comment assists the finest of rambleroos.

Hi Alex, I haven’t watched some of ur latest video which were like the other strat games. However like the other week I was watching them as well as hoi4. I think right now it’s perfect time for urself to branch out into something else and find something ur very committed to. I also wanna point out that u do a video on a new game, then u ask for likes and comment on it and then u say for another video on it or a series however u get the likes but u never do. So I feel like some subs can be let down by this. However I find u still entertaining and ur editor does a great job on making the videos are entertaining as possible. For mods you can I play, I can recommend 2 mods, although you covered both of them in the past: The New Order: Old World Blues (1.9.0 Update), This is the mod where the Axis won WW2. Although the main (aka full) mod is under development, it had a Demo and it is now updated. But keep in mind that in the demo, there are only 4 nations you can play and they are in the South Urals. Kaiserreich: People tend to forget about the mod, but its non-stop getting new content and reworked old content. The 2 nations/areas I recommend playing are: Russia: They got a reworked, more modern focus tree in the past update. My favourite nation to play in the mod. (If you want to spice things up there's a very high-quality anime mod for it.) China: China in 1936 is in a warlord state, but there's a lot of warlords that has ambitions to reunite China, such as the KMT (they have 3 wings: left, centre and right), the federalists and last but not least, the monarchists under the Qing banner. I recommend these because both of their gameplay as about expansion: Like Russia, you have to Reunite the Russian Empire, which means you have to reconquer Central Asia, the Caucasus, and finally, you have to beat the Germany Beast in Eastern Europe. And in China, you have to unite the entire nation of China, fighting the many warlords, including the Japanese, backed Fengtain Government (IRL Manchukuo/Manchuria) and the European guaranteed Legation Cities (collection of all European Concessions like Shanghai, Hong Kong etc.) I know that both of these mods were covered in the past and won't generate as many views as you would like, but I can guarantee you that they are: fun to play as, interesting if you read the stuff, and are High Quality, polished mods. PS.: Both of these mods recommend using 1.9.1 (beta).

Hey, Alex! I am pretty new to your channel, several months old. I got here as I saw a link to one of your TW videos. Afterwards youtube pushed a lot of your HOI4 videos and ONLY those. I watched them as I find you entertaining and it really helps relax and destress after a tough work day (I am 29, so I feel you :D). I strongly believe that the youtube algorithm is killing your strategy games part of your channels and transforming it into a HOI4 one, as I rarely get something else pushed from you, from youtube, yet on your channel there's obviously more stuff. Stay strong and avoid letting this demoralise you. I know you have to keep yourself financially profitable yet I believe the best way to regain control of your channel from the algoritm (which is commercial oriented, obviously) is to do what you want, at the expense of losing some views and so on, for a while. For this, I truly hope your other channel takes off, to help you support your "battle" for your channel. You can do it! Keep fighting and do what YOU want, as this and any channel YOU make, represent YOU and that is what ppl want to see, YOU playing games and NOT HOI4 narrated by a random someone. Good luck, mate!

One reason I've noticed people aren't interested in certain videos is not because of the content. If you release videos too quickly (yes that's a thing) people get overwhelmed OR they simply are bored and don't want to waste the time to watch another video. I recommend one vid every 2-3 days. That's been the optimal time between videos for me in terms of views and watch time. Keep up the good work mate 😉
