Honestly, i'm surprised I had a similar feeling. If anything Hope helped Pete reconnect with himself and where he came from (namelyher Walkman, one much like the one Peter had). Honestly, there is much more chemistry between Hope and Peter than when he was with Gamora. I would hope to see a similar thing if he meets a version of Kitty Pyrde in the prime universe, but in this one, why not get together. It's a pretty heartwarming and emotional scene.

One of the things that I like about this scene is that both Hope and Peter lost their moms. Hope’s mom went into the quantum realm but was told that she died in a plane crash while Peter lost his mom to brain cancer. Their conversation was how they bonded and how Hope inspired Peter to help the heroes into defeating his father Ego.

So far one of the best What-if incarnation Avenger teams. A Bucky Barnes that didn’t kill Howard but instead was redeemed by him. A Hank Pym that isn’t a complete jerk. And a Thor that is a true warrior and not a punchline to a very bad joke. Plus two kids on the team to provide some innocent insight and morale.

@@nightwingman666 Yes Thor is no Clooney Batman (that's what I'm comparing Love and Thunder to) Howard Stark is alive Bucky Barnes should go find Steve in the ice and get him out Mar-Vell is a complete hero and is no villain Bill Foster made great a friendship with Hank Pym uh speaking of which Hank Pym is a great man and he's more of a saint compared to the original Hank Pym and the Yellowjacket Hank Pym oh and he's a great father figure to Peter Peter Quill got all the anger outta him and he's a great friend to Hope Hope Van Dyne is NOT a friend but girlfriend to Peter since their shared love of music

@@wiinterflowers4277 I was expecting them to bring back Abby Ryder Fortson as Cassie but we got Madeleine McGraw instead Well it's cause Kathryn Newton F-ed up the role of Cassie in Ant-Man 3 and Kathryn was just terrible as Cassie god I sure hope Kevin Feige can fire her and re-hire Abby and age her up to look like she's in her 20s with the other Young Avengers What I'm saying is that I loved Abby hated Kathryn Anywho I'm fine with them bringing back Madeline McGraw but this was unexpected for me since its 5 years later and she's much older But her smitten on Peter? DAYUM! I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING BUT GOD DAMN IT! IT WAS SOOOOOO CUTE!!! If there's a young actor who resembles Wyatt Oleff as Young Peter Quill hire him and Madeline McGraw for a live action episode

@@theryanreynoldsfan3674 Kathryn Newton was awful as Cassie but that's not her fault. That's the writer's fault because the actress was just doing what she was written to do. For actors and actresses, their performances are fueled by writing. Kathryn Newton can *ACTUALLY* act but in better stuff like Freaky or Blockers. But what killed me is that she looks *NOTHING LIKE* Abby Ryder Fortson from the first two films! As for Young Avengers, I don't give shit about that crap. I think What If is the closest I can give this. Also smitten? Ew nope!
