I’m not a full time content creator, so I can’t imagine the pressures that are put on you, but I can’t even muster up the energy or strength to do the dishes on my bad days, so filming, editing, and uploading it for the world to see.. Hey Raven, I’m about 15 minutes into the video and wanted to offer a word of encouragement for seasonal depression. I truly understand how this time of the year can be mentally taxing as I literally struggle and hate this time of the year bc of the lack of sun, being anemic and it reminds me of the loss of my brother who passed thanksgiving 2008. Offer yourself grace and rest…taking one day at a time. As a mom as well, it’s hard to get off the hamster wheel but remember to put yourself first and pour back into you. ❤️‍🩹

I have watched since the mint green walls, box braids and diy galaxy shorts days. I’m now 29 and just now became a mom myself to twin boys this past June. It’s kinda weird to say I love you to a person and family you’ve never met… but I do. Every era. Every idea and vision that’s been brought to life. I love these vlogs, I just want to say, Raven give yourself more grace! You're so high functioning, please don't let that rob you of the simplicity of living in joy. Otherwise you'll spend more time in your head and saying out loud, self-judgements disguised as critiques. Get hugs more often. LIke those body sinking, soul affirming hugs! Just some suggestions : I love any type of series! I think you are such a multifaceted and interesting person so some examples of series that can be cool: 1. Trying new recipes from different places etc (cooking shows style segment , fun editing , different familiar guest ) 2. After hours with Raven Elyse: Drink cocktails recipes coming up with cool names pairing it with foods with more adult commentary ( this could even be 20 min videos ) 3. I think you would thrive playing the sims LOL ! especially with builds and CC might be a fun hobby even if you don't record ! 4. Trying new makeup and hairstyles! I know you have your go-tos but it may be fun to try some beauty trends on the channel 5. Styling outfits for specific events even if you don't go to them I know it may not be worth the work to film the but I think the fun. throwaway videos in between may give you a break from the norm! I am a long time supporter & Im cheering you on in this new season! You got this!

My fav cookie recipe is Brown butter chocolate chip cookies, 1 stick of butter browned on the stove(cooled do it first while you mix the next five), mix the 1 eggs, 3/4 brown, 1/2 white sugar, however much vanilla and 1 tsp baking soda ( I wip those five together till a light brown color) add the 1 and 1/4th flour, I usually do abt 2 tsp, a pinch of salt, and measure however much chocolate chips you want better than regular chocolate chip cookies (oven set to 350, I bake usually 16 for the in between soft but chewy, 18 for a more crunchy cookie chewy middle) I promise its the best thing you will ever have

this type of content is so refreshing & definitely needed❤ a lot of content creators think that their audience doesn’t grow with them, but that’s so not true. I watched you in high school, college, and now in my adult life so I live for the changes in content. At the end of the day, do what you love and you won’t have to “work”, I think you’re just in a season of trying to fall back in love with content creation because it became more obligatory now that you do it full time, and that is completely ok Raven. Take into consideration what will perform well of course, but do what you truly enjoy and then it’ll transform into long term viewers rather than temporary clicks. As a long time viewer, I loved the genuine energy of this vlog! I did want to share something hopefully helpful as someone who’s been in a similar position of wanting to transition but not knowing to what or how. 1. People will and do give you a lot of grace in the transition. Allow yourself to be one person one day and another the next. 2. When you don’t know what to do follow every little thing AND thought that brings you joy, curiosity, or relief.
