This is a rough cut of what I envision if reboot JJ Star Trek had been a weekly TV Show intead of movies. I absolutely Love Star Trek in it's many forms. The ship designs are glorious and considering how AI is advancing in portraying Human characters and actions it should be possible within five years to have a "hyper realistic AI animated series". Voiced by the reboot cast as a low effort nice little earner for cast and studio yet be still more daring than any "physical set" bound production with easy game spinoff's.

I love the idea, but the execution feels waaaaay out-of-focus. Parts of the video's composition and description would imply this would be a rough idea of an intro - but the way the clips are utilized doesn't quite convey a coherent and concise narrative in the same way that existing Trek shows have. (TOS and TNG relying on brief establishing shots followed by the ship going "woosh" between each credit, DS9 portraying the titular station as a humble hub of interstellar commerce, VOY well...showing *its* own namesake flying around, but vague enough to fit with the setting without spoiling the pilot's twist premise, ENT establishing its role as a prequel by showing everything leading to that moment, SNW being a spiritual copy of VOY's intro, etc.) The focus on the Klingons and the two Starfleet ships simultaneously constrains the window of narrative possibilities, and convolutes the notion of what this hypothetical incarnation of Trek is supposed to be. Is it an anthology? A mini-series? Does every episode have to involve the Klingons? What purpose would the Challenger or the Albatross serve? What's the tone? Are we completely abandoning the idea of exploring strange new worlds? What's the scope of the show? Without these things firmly established and asserted, it just kind of melts into an awkward clip-show masquerading as an intro. The CG is phenomenal though - I've been a huge fan of your work for about 5 years now, and you absolutely excel at the things you make. I just think this one could have used a little more planning.

Impressive work but JJ trek ruined everything Star Trek stood for, he tried to make it into Star Wars. With the exception of Strange New Worlds (to an extent, even that pushed it in some areas) and Season 3 of Picard, I have been thoroughly disappointed in how the Star Trek name has been desecrated since ST Enterprise ended. TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, SNW and Picard S3 are Star Trek, everthing else is 'Based on Star Trek but written by the canon ignorant for a quick buck'.

The quality of your work is fantastic! Would you be able to remake the Next Generation opening sequence using the new Enterprise G from Picard Season 3? and instead of Picards voice doing the opening monologue have Captain Seven's voice do it? You would melt all the OG Trekkies if you pulled that off 😂 👍💪

Love the quality but for the love of Christmas keep JJ Abrams and the kelvin timeline ships a thousand millions lightyears away from the franchise. They did enough damage with normalizing pulse phasers on everything for wiz bang and a star wars hyperdrive like animation for warp... go away!
