I personally think it's fine for Mike to die, I just don't like how pathetically it happened from Walt having a temper tantrum, and also that Mike's life of crime ended up amounting to nothing. In a perfect world both of these would happen, but at least 1 would make me way happier: Have Walt realise Lydia has the names earlier, he does the prison murders and Mike comes back for revenge and dies then. Have Jesse actually successfully give his money to Kaylee (and Drew Sharp's parents too) like he intended, as I personally feel like even if it didn't come directly from Mike's stash, Jesse giving the money to Kaylee would only happen as a result of Mike's mentorship of Jesse and the bond they formed, meaning indirectly Mike did get money to Kaylee after all.

I'm surprised that Walter didn't retaliated back in the heated argument that Mike was going to kill both him and Jesse on Gustavo's orders, which essentially forced his hands.

Everyone always complains about Mike leaving his granddaughter in the park, but his only other option was having her watch him get arrested. He had seconds to make the decision and neither option was good, but if he gets away, he might try to find another way to get Kaylee money. Which was always his goal.

Mike is probably my favorite character. I liked how he died though. Walt saying "I could of.." It was so horrible of a scene it makes you feel sick almost.

what minds me is how there is no mention of Mike in the last episode of Better Call Saul, i mean there is a reference to him, but nothing meaninful. It really bothered me, since he was almost a Second Protagonist in that show, the one character that made the conection between Jimmy's storyline and Fring's storyline. I would have love to see Jimmy mentioning Mike in his last speech somehow, since Mike was also the one who tried to warn Saul that Walter wasn't trustable. His death never bothered me since they were not even planning Mike's existence and Better Call Saul really nails to develop this character to give even more deth to his death turning into something even more tragic, again, what gets me is the lack of Mike in the last episode of B.C.S.

Mike had to die, it was a matter of time. Walt needed Mike's guys to go and Walt didn't want to make them whole, he wanted his own empire. Walt's ego wouldn't allow an alpha male like Mike to be around in his business and he was inevitably killed. The ending of the series is perfect and Mike being alive would totally change it, killing Mike was the right decision and it was perfect moment of villainy for Walter.

I think Walter needs his perfect ending, so I'd go with the latter timeline. That being said, great video, as always. You plan on doing more Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul What If's? Like What If Chuck Survived? Or What If Lalo survived? Or What If Nacho Survived? Or What If the Twins killed Hank? Or What If Gus Survived? Or What If Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul and the Walking Dead existed in the same universe? Do you also plan on doing what ifs on other shows like The Boys and Game of Thrones?

Here are some suggestions What if Hank found Walter and Jesse in the rv? What if Hank accidentally killed Jesse when he hit him in season 3? What if Gus had Hank killed before Saul was able to send a warning in crawl space? What if Gus survived the end of season 4? What if Mike’s men in prison talked to the dea before Walter got them killed in season 5?
