Suggestion: Make it possible to craft a necklace with the eye. The necklace has limited durability but has the ability to be used for an effect. (whether it be right clicked, worn and have the durability constantly tick down, or worn and have a certain button to press) This ability is called "power of the cyclops" or something to that degree. This gives you a high strenth effect, far beyond what is achievable with potions. However, it gives you partial blindness or tunnel vision (whole idea of this being the fact that the cyclops only has one eye so it blinds one of your eyes while you have such large strength) and it also gives you a bit of slowness (because of the cyclops slower attacks). Could even have an achievement after crafting it like "Keeping an eye out" or something to that effect. Another suggestion: Would be making it into a staff that can shoot a weaker, mabye longer ranged version of the laser the Cyclops's eye laser. Of course there would have to be either a pretty low durability or a huge drawback like massive slowness while using it or taking damage if used for too long. Either way another interesting concept to explore. Definitely could have some fun with the eye use. Heck could even allow the player to pick up a tree stump and use it as a weapon while wearing some sort of amulet or holding some sort of item with the eye as it's crafting recipe.

for how you get the beacon eye, its effect is really underwhelming, heres my take on what it could be used for standalone; maybe instead, set it up on a 3x3 platform of obsidian, and itll shoot any nearby hostile mobs with the same laser the cyclops uses? heck, maybe even the turret could be turned on and off with redstone? maybe the eye could also be used to make a chestplate that empowers your fists with the strength of a giant's? letting you mine stone with your fists and making your punches do as much damage as an iron sword. OR, perhaps the eye is used to make a 'treasure-finder'? the iris of the treasure-finder would point in the direction of any nearby rare structure like a compass. It could help you find rare structures like dungeons and nether fortresses, with the only exception being strongholds.

My Cyclops ideas: More Attacks: Stomp: When you get too close, the Cyclops will slam his feet onto the ground and will launch you into the walls of his layer at alarming speeds. You will have about half a second to react. Swipe: The most simple attack, instead of the slam which takes a little to long to attack, the swipe will hit you very quick. Cyclops Roar: The Cyclops will becomes enraged when you get below half health and occasionally will roar. The roar will make the cyclops faster, stronger, and more resistant to attacks. Shockwave: The cyclops will jump into the air and slam his club into the ground, sending a shockwave towards the direction you are in. You will have about a second to react or be stunned in place, unable to attack or move. You will regain reaction in a second. Drops and abilities: Cyclops eye: Continuing on from your idea and many others, the eye should shoot a laser for 3 seconds before being on cool down for 2 seconds. The laser will burn enemies and scorch the ground. The eye should also be used to make some sort of turret. It will shoot any monster that comes near it. It could also be a modifier for a bow, allowing it to shoot a laser instead of an arrow. Cyclops Club: There should be a ten percent chance for the club to drop. The club, when right clicking, will attack with a very powerful attack, slamming your club into the ground, sending monsters flying into the air. When left clicking with the club, you will preform a tornado of death, spinning around and destroying anything in your range. It will have a 5 block range. Hide: When killing a cyclops, it will drop 5-10 hide. When put in a crafting table in the formation of normal armor, you will get Cyclops armor. I was thinking something similar .. but .. attaching it to the beacon ability .. so the Cyclops Eye shows mobs for the full range of the beacon (50 blocks) but maybe with an extra cost it could laser beam any mob within 16 blocks of it. As for an idea for the cyclops eye, perhaps it could be used to craft a "Stave of the Cyclops", requiring two sticks, a cyclops eye, and a nether star. When held, it could allow players to see all hostile mobs within the vicinity, and its wielder could utilise the cyclopes eye ray, powered down, of course. More nether stars could be added after its crafting, increasing the distance of illumination, and powering the ray attack further.

Ideas: Combine it with a Eye of the ender to create a summoning item for "The Watcher". This could be another bossfight. Or you could use it on a iron golem to enhance him (like in the Czech story about a Golem, where when you put a stone pebble into a statues head, it came to life), and make him more powerful (you already did a What IF video on iron golems tho) Or, add some story to the eye. For instance, when you hold it, you "look through" it, and see magical objects, leaking from another dimension. And when you activate a end portal, and replace one Ender Eye with Cyclops eye, it might take you to a different dimension. Another idea would be a new companion. If you combine the eye with a potion of levitation (so it could levitate), and some other items (for instance a shulker box), it could create a levitating-eye companion that would attack your enemies. OR you could make this compatible with your village mod, and giving this to your enchanter/druid/priest could give them new cool powers, or it could unlock a new "magic path" to evolve your village. For instance you could use it in a item frame, to create the "Monster Hunters" hut, where you will be given tasks from a monster hunter to hunt various bosses and monsters for rewards (such as the lava kraken from your other video, which could also drop a "Kraken Eye" that could be combined with the cyclops one). The possibilities are endless. Hope you'll find something of this interesting. Love your vids!

1 Have the eye be combinable with a helmet in an anvil so the wearer gets the same all seeing effect the beacon eye did. 2 can be combined with a staff of sorts to give holder laser powers, but over a certain distance.

Cyclops eye + pickaxe gives you a pick that will highlight ores within 5 blocks of u when holding it. Better pick=longer range Cyclops eye plus 10 arrows gives u five "tipped seeing arrows" which will home in on an enemy when shot

I'd put a golden sheep in the cave with the cyclops: the sheep would have two loot tables: one for if the cyclops is dead and one for if it isn't. If the cyclops is dead, you get the fleece: if it isn't you get yellow wool. This way you have to fight the cyclops while preventing the cyclops from killing the sheep on accident. Makes for an additional challenge.

Here's an idea I had after watching this and the dungeon videos: Dwarves vs Goblins mod. Goblins get extra traps, the shortbow (which has a faster draw speed but lower range) and custom hives where they live, with the structure being set up so that they can easily get around but players are forced to slog through traps if they aren't keen on mining the entire hive out of annoyance. Dwarves get cannons, balistas, and a few extra crafting tiers with their own special properties (bronze can have the damage output of iron but the durability of wood, but have the unique property of doing extra damage to ender creatures, where as tungstanium has the highest durability, but the damage of stone tools against everything except undead, which it does double damage to).

I'm not complaining about your ideas (heck, you're one of the best devs in these later days of Minecraft mods) but I want to say, a lot of modded bosses require really good gear. Can we get a more mid tier boss, one that only needs iron armor and tools, maybe with low level enchants? I'd love a boss that you can challenge earlier that gives some reward that can help you progress. Only examples of this I can think of is Twilight forest bosses, like the naga and litch.

Maybe you could make the cyclops eye craft-able into a staff. This staff could be crafted with a beacon eye and two blaze rods below it. Like how you make a shovel. It would allow you to shoot the same Lazer he could, however you would be super slow when it’s being fired, it wouldn’t set fire, and it would have durability, don’t fret though. You won’t have to craft a new Cyclops Staff when yours gets low, if you don’t fully break it, you can repair a cyclops staff ender pearls, or maybe spider eyes, I’m not sure.

i have a few ideas: 1. mix it with a sword and you have yourself a sword (of any kind) shooting the cyclops' beam if you right click. 2. mix it with any block and it becomes a laser block. 3. fuse it with any type of armor, and it gives you [100 hearts of health, you don't need to eat anymore fire resistance and resistance]. 4. add it to a bow and you can use this bow that can shoot the cyclops' beam. and you can use it without arrows. 5 (and final one). you can use it directly and shoot mobs with a laser beam. these are my ideas and you can use them however you like
