100 rated chess, but your pieces (not pawns) are slingshots. They can only take an enemy piece (including pawns) if they've been pulled back a few squares on the previous turn, so that they are primed to be launched on the attacking turn. You can pre-empt where you think the enemy will be, but if you miss, you must launch that piece as far as it can go, including taking whatever enemy piece it might hit instead.

@lmabacus4045 ай бұрын
Aren't they the same? Or are you interpreting every 2 moves to mean every other move?
@Flechashe5 ай бұрын
@@lmabacus404 Every 2 moves does mean every other move, and that's how Simp interpreted it too. That's not the problem My point is that the challenge forces Simp to move closer to the queen on even moves. He isn't allowed to do something else on an even move just because he moved closer to the queen on an odd move. What happens on odd moves is irrelevant. Considering this, the challenge was failed at move 4. Simp thinks that this move is allowed because he moved closer to the queen on move 3.
@lmabacus4045 ай бұрын
@@Flechashe "Every 2 moves" isn't the same thing as "every second move." Simp has always interpreted "restriction/requirement every x moves" as "every consecutive sequence of x moves must satisfy the restriction/requirement." For example, in the "He Back Rank Checkmates Me" video, the challenge of "you can only capture one piece every 10 moves" was interpreted as "no consecutive sequence of 10 moves can have more than one capture", instead of "you can only capture on moves divisible by 10", or "each 10-move block of 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 etc must contain at most one capture."
