Sure he and Obi-Wan were focused on finding the Sith Lord at that moment but, he would've still said something to Anakin about it after he woke up. Yes, Obi-Wan already knew by that point, but he also would've had to beg Plo Koon to not tell anyone else.

A story where papa palpy doesn't play all those political games and pit the Republic against the CIS, He simply uses the CIS to start taking over the galaxy if not at the battle of Naboo then shortly after. Meaning there wouldn't be a waiting clone army for the republic. The Republic would be hard pressed, needing to start Drafts and recruting. Using old moth balled ships and local planetary defense fleets till they manage to put a fleet together. With nearly all the corporations siding with Palpy and the CIS including Kuat, ( Because Kuat was going to join the CIS but Palpy set something up where they remained with the Republic if i remember right.) The Republic would have to re-institute the Republic Fleet Systems, update old models of old republic ship designs... I wouldn't even be called the clone wars even. Not sure where the Jedi fit in all this, maybe still help lead armies of troopers if not simply be a part of the troops. But all the CIS super weapons, droids made with phrik and such that papa palpy made sure were destroyed before would me mass produced.

This would give Anakin who's loyalty they didn't trust loyalty they could his kids where there loyal he'd remain
