Good point. No one elaborated what he did in the intermediate years. We see him in a later Clone Wars arc where he's already into the criminal business, trying to avenge his fathers death with the help of other bounty-hunters (and it ends him up in prison). Well, Yoda. And Mace was also suitable for this role. At what even much more better than Qui Gon Jinn. Qui Gon Jinn was a good human. And The Jedi, but, he wasn't not the best choice for Anakin's Master. If Qui Gon trained Anakin, then the story could repeat itself with Xanatos, who in many ways was similar to Anakin, only Anakin would have been in place of Xanatos. In addition, Qui Gon wanted to train Anakin because, he wanted to believe Anakin was The Chosen One. Qui Gon wanted to believe it because he was overwhelmed by Anakin's Potential In The Force. The number of Anakin's Midichlorians. And because he wanted to believe in the Anakin's Immaculate Birth as indisputable proof of Anakin's Chosenness. Although, The Prophecy that Qui Gon blindly believed could be actually referring to Luke and not Anakin, because, Luke's Personality was more like that of The Chosen One than Anakin's Personality. As for Obi-Wan, then Obi-Wan From Attack Of The Clones Or From Revenge Of The Sith was a better fit as Anakin's Master in terms of age. And experience than Obi-Wan From The Phantom Menace.

​​@@marikam2998 The Sith were intervening and manipulating the force in ways that the force itself did not like. This disrupted balance and thus, Anakin was born. However as always, the sith caused more imbalance by killing Qui Gon and the fate of the galaxy was sealed (as shown by the name of the duel, "duel of the fates") So basically, the prophecy was likely going to be done normally with the death of the sith without much trouble, but the sith caused more disruption in the force which is what causes balance to be achieved by the enslavement of the galaxy. Either way, the prophecy was going to be completed whether the galaxy suffered or not, the force doesn't really care. Or maybe, it's just psychotic af or something lmao.

I'm glad Anakin was allowed to grow as a person and gained wisdom by the end. Thankfully he had managed to change the Jedi Order for the better. Windu's death would definitely led Obi-Wan to become the Master of the Order and perhaps eventually Anakin, meaning that this is not out of the realms of possibilities.

I think that only one change could be made but it's a minor change the jedi contact bail organa, Mon mothma and the other delegation of 2000 sharing all the information about sidious being palpatine controlling both sides of the clone wars ect. In the movie Mace talks about taking over the senate to secure a peaceful transition. Most fanfics and even Phaloni dodge around that saying that if Palps had been arrested, the senate would have let him off. The Jedi would've entered the senate with lightsabers drawn. If Qui-Gon had fully trained Anakin, Anakin probably wouldn't had fallen to the Dark Side. This is from Legends Material, but with Qui-Gon's previous (sublime) relationship with Master Tahl, he would've easily sensed Anakin's connection with Padme and served as a more proper guide for them both, and would have been more accepting of them both. Secondly, the Clone Wars probably would have been stunted or probably never have happened altogether as Qui-Gon was much more attuned to the Living Force than the rest of the senior Jedi (poor Obi-Wan included), and he would've taken a chance to take Palpatine down due to both of them being maverick Force-sensitives. I honestly see that. ☺

I've watched most of your "What if?" videos for the most part I enjoy them. But I have to admit that this is my all-time favorite. I think the idea of Qui-Gon's ghost helps augment Obi-Wan's training is perfect. The fact that Anakin does not go to the Senate because he's listening to the will of the force is important, too. Maybe there is a Galactic Civil War eventually but instead of Darth Vader being the big bad, it would instead be Thrawn. I would see it kind of like the First Order in Force Awakens where there is the Republic Government in place but the First Order also exists. It would be an interesting idea to persue. Great job on this one, though.

What if the Jedi trained Anakin ON Tattoine to help him process and come to terms with his emotions and allow him to more healthily separate from his connections? Basically? What if Anakin was more emotionally healthy going into his Jedi Training? As it is, they basically consentually kidnapped Anakin. I know that that's their way, but that's for young, YOUNG children, and Anakin was already an exception. Setting up a small, remote Jedi presence on Tattoine would both alert the Jedi to the goings on in the outer rim, and allow them to perhaps set up a new base of Jedi Operations in the outer rim ahead of the clone wars, based off of this simple decision. It allows Anakin time to come to terms with his new life, have a proper goodbye with his mother as she watches him grow up and naturally drift apart due to his actions and decisions, and it would help sponsor bonds of family with the jedi because his existing friends and mother could approve of his new family.

None of The Jedi Anakin abducted even by mutual consent. Shmi herself understood that Anakin would be better off with the Jedi than with her. As much as Shmi loved Anakin, she would never have agreed to leave Tatooine, even for Anakin, which she considered her home, unlike, Anakin. Otherwise, Shmi would not have agreed to marry Cliegg. And left Tatooine right after Cliegg released her. Because Of Anakin's Force Sensitivity made he it dangerous to remain on Tatooine. Because, if he had stayed there then Palpatine would have found a way to kidnap him. And letting Anakin go after what happened at the Battle of Naboo was also dangerous. After all, thanks to Maul, it became clear that the Sith had not completely disappeared.

What happened to Qui-Gon's lightsaber? did ObiWan kept his lightsaber? His lightsaber's crystal contains an imprint of his essence since he used it for a long time so it should have a copy of his memories in it&could had been used in a holocron. So QuiGon can use the holocron as a holo-projector for his spirit to communicate with Anakin or Kenobi thru their Force Master/Padawan bond. It could had been used to be a limited interactive training device and be able to share his wisdom to Anakin accessing the holocron. This is actually an old trick in KOTOR comics specifically by the Sith and used it to maintain their presence spiritually to corrupt the bearer of the Sith holocron or their lightsaber. The Jedi uses it too as a lightsaber momento/holocron for those that moved on after death.
