Wow wow wow! God delivered me, a woman, from the bondage of pornography addiction some years ago. It was such a profound deliverance that I cannot recall the day it happened, I just remember thinking…I don’t desire that anymore. I wondered when it happened. I thought I would never be delivered because it stemmed from being molested as a very little girl and had propelled me into relationships, sexual and non-sexual, that were toxic and abusive. Thank you pastor Ray for having a heart given over to God, not only for those who engage with pornography second hand, but for those who are trafficked and groomed into it. Jackie and Preston your transparency is beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank You Daddy God!

I really pray that this happens for me too. Your testimony is powerful and gives me hope because our stories are similar. I detest porn so much, and what I know it's doing to me and others and mkst importantly, the Spiritt of God within me. I just don't know how to stop. But I know that my victory is certain in Christ. I just need to know how to walk in it. Thanks for sharing your testimony.
@thepipingbagbakery439917 күн бұрын
@@al-bakersophie6583 I am grateful to have that testimony and to share it. I pray it encourages you and reminds you that He, Daddy God, desires us to be free of bondage. He takes on the work of setting us free and that is what we trust in. Not ourselves, but His heart towards us. When I tell you I can’t tell you the day He totally and completely delivered me, I mean it. A thought came to me one day, some years ago, that I couldn’t remember the last time I had engaged in that behavior, that’s when I realized that He had set me free from DECADES of addiction. I thought I’d go to my grave bond by it, but thanks be to God who give US the victory! Walk in that assurance. You are in my prayers.

the statement Ray made about how God Entrusted him with his wife who suffered brought me to tears because God is so strategic.. this allows us who have suffered to know a better life. a life of love, a life of peace, a life of not always having to pour in other peoples cup but in yet be restored, renewed and have our wounds nursed. at the end of the day we're all looking to be loved.. and its through that love that we understand Christ's love all the more. i think we take Matthew 22:37-39 lightly. we don't know that by being and acting this Word out we are unknowingly healing wounds in people.

I broke down crying when Jackie said, "No today was a difficult day but can we watch a movie, or are there other avenues of intimacy that might open me up to a yes". I broke because I've been trying to years to get my husband to understand that but I thank God for opening his eyes ears and heart to receive this message. Hey Perry's: Don't know how or why your video popped up in my feed but it did AND I am so thankful! I have been a christian woman nearly all my adult life. I have agonized from teen age to now trying to understand why men are disrespectful in their treatment toward women. This goes back to Biblical times. Godly men love King David and King Solomon to me ... a woman ... I find them disgusting. I have asked male friends, family, pastors to explain ... help me to understand why men behave as they do. Man and all living creatures were made of the earth. Woman was formed of man. Why would a man degrade his own self, part of his being. Thank you, thank you thank you for having Ray Ortland on your program and for having the courage to discuss these issues so openly. I really appreciate it, from the bottom of my heart. Finally three men being real men and speaking frankly of very difficult issues. Many of my decades old questions have been answered. I've already "shared" this video with a number of people and will be sharing with more. Will also be tuning into more of your videos. Have a great day!

I absolutely loved this conversation… as it is one that I deeply care about! Thank you Preston, Jackie, and Pastor Ray for eloquently and biblically articulating the beauty of our sexuality. The enemy hates our sexuality, hence he strives to distort our senses - so we can become pursuers of our sensuality. I dunno man i dont think they are all there against their will. Plenty of chicks use it as a way to make easy money because our society downplay sex. Too many young women straight running to OF at 18 tryna make quick easy money.

It’s interesting that no one ever talks about the men in porn. The actors in these things. Though they are probably not trafficked into the industry, I reckon there’s an insane amount of brokenness we feed into, in their lives, when we watch porn. From drug addictions, to their own sense of perversion, their degraded bodies, their past traumas. It tells me that we tend to not extend compassion to men.
@SAVAGEoLIFE6 күн бұрын
I dont believe the majority of women in the most current times are being trafficked. Its just becoming the current thing for young girls to make money. Girls are making onlyfans soon as they turn 18. I cant even open up my explore page without half the screen being some women sexualizing herself. But to your point i think men arent brought up because its viewed being a guys "dream"

It would be so nice to get married to a person who is fully aware that they are marrying someone who has past injuries and their role to be part of the healing process. Nowadays, we marry because we want something from the other and not because we want to be part of the transformative journey from past hurt toward healing. In essence, we marry out of selfishness. Hence, when things don' t turn out the way we want, we quit on marriage.

This conversation was the kingdom of heaven coming to earth on this topic. 99.5% of women, whether sucked into porn, sex trafficking, or some kind of addictive behavior that leads to fornication or sexual abuse has been sold this lie that it is natural and normal for sex to happen outside of a committed, loving, God-protected relationship. They’ve been made to feel like they are the servants of this norm and men are the receivers of sexual benefit and if they also get pleasure out of it then that affirms the recreational nature of nameless, faceless sexual practice. It goes against everything a woman’s heart naturally longs for before she is perverted and defiled by a sin sick world. That leaves her giving sex in hopes of receiving love while men are being lied to and utterly perverted in other ways which make them grow even less connected, productive, and fulfilled as they turn to porn. Yep this is a pillar of satanic rule on earth. Incredible discussion. THANK YOU.
