I write this to edify Jackie - I have struggled with significant unwanted same-sex attraction for years, even though I was raised in a Christian home. God called me to confess after a breakdown at age 25. To this day, while he’s sustained me to never engage in a sinful partnership, he hasn’t answered my deep yearning to reverse my affections - I am not a wife, or a mother, and as I’m about to turn 40, the sorrow weighs heavy as I must accept God’s ‘no’. You’ve been one of a few safe reformed evangelicals whose ‘digital’ presence has ministered to my soul in this time of disenfranchised grief. Your honesty is SO refreshing. The way you speak of God’s grace with such candour encourages me to not give up, by his spirit. The reformed evangelical church in Brisbane is a hard place to belong to, and like you, I’ve suffered as a result of my openness. The judgements can be harsh and I’ve lost heart to attend in person; I’m such a minority. Those who do accept and shine Christ’s love to me are easily outnumbered by those who don’t even realise the harm their attitudes cause. You, Ray Ortlund, Sam Alberry and the late Tim Keller have been instruments of his Word to me. Thank you, with sincerity, for your sacrifice in speaking the hard truth about sin and grace. I hope to see you and Preston back on your channel when you are rested and restored.

Social media breaks are wonderful. God can use social media like Jackie said, but it's such a distraction for many. I think it's Making people addicted more to their phones too.... Just like smoking, drinking and drugs can be an addiction, social media is the same. Jackie also made a good point how you don't realize how much down time you have and the addiction to entertain. And people use social media different. Because of our assignment as Christians, some people we follow on social media aren't living a Christ centered life , so their worldly ways can be very enticing for a believer who isn't fully surrendered to God.

Thieves do not break into empty houses” that hit hard. You both have truly blessed so many people in this world. Jesus would go and be to himself at times. Take the break you need for you and your family. I pray for peace and blessings over you and your family! I truly love both of you! See you next year will be patiently waiting 😊♥️🙌🏾

💔❤️💔🙏🏽🕊️🙏🏽🕊️ in grieving only son one year ago today it fell like I’m a failure&God don’t like me.In feeling so alone it feels like I have did something to be hated by family. Losing everything makes me think I’m being punished for failing God and everyone, yet I’m stronger than ever,I have no choice I break or I pray4 strength and with the little strength I have I aim to seek God. No idea what tomorrow will bring, homelessness, more rejection or betrayal. I just say thank you lord in the valley.

I don’t know if you will see this, but your testimony (life, marriage, pursuit of God) inspires me so much. I didn’t grow up in a Christian household and am trying to heal while learning the ways of God. Don’t listen to the lies and criticism. Keep going - there are more for you than against you and most importantly, if HE is for YOU, who can be against you? Sending love and prayers. 🙏

A special praise to the Most High for introducing me to The Perry’s about 4 months ago. It has been a long journey in my faith and their words, theology, and Literature (loved Preston’s book How to tell the Truth) 🎉! Has all helped me so much along my walk! I pray that y’all have a very restorative rest season! Love on yourselves, each other and those babies! We hope to see y’all soon💕🙏🏾

Discovered you guys 2 months ago… and you guys have guided me in the beginning time of my faith. I connect and relate with Jackie specifically and its obvious the enemy wants her to be discouraged. But you are strong… your heart is strong.

The job of the enemy is to steal, kill, and destroy your patience and your love for HIS people. Don't let him win, Preston. You guys are anointed for this.

My Dad was a very wise man. One statement I grew up with is, "you would be surprised at how many fools there are in the family. Church and blood." In my 79 years I have never seen such hate and self-righteousness via social media. What is in our hearts is being revealed. Even a fool is considered wise if he keeps his mouth shut! We as part of the human race need to stop devouring each other like dogs trained to kill one another. When I pray for your family, the Holy Spirit always brings to mind you praying, studying, mothering, wifing, and all becomes well with the world.Love you all in Christ.

This says a lot about who you all are and about your relationship with God to take a break from social media to strengthen your spiritual walk! To be spiritually intune with our Father! Love it and I too will be embarking on a break from social media. It can be a crutch and a hindrance to our spiritual man and walk because it can so easily consume us into emptiness and waisted time that we honestly don't have time to waste. I've enjoyed the few videos I've recently started watching of you all, and it's definitely sharpening! ~Peace and blessings 🙏🏾💜

Just off the start of the video my mini testimony is i was the most lukewarm Christian if you can even call me that until October. I felt like my repenting meant nothing because i kept falling back into sin on a daily basis so me being hurt by that i just stopped repenting. My mom recommended me 2819 in October (Deal with this aggressively) and my life shifted. Super long story short in a month and a half of my interest in Christ and learnin, the Lord pulled me out of a relationship and into a Season between me and God. I bought my first bible and for the first time since 11th grade I bought and read Preston’s book How To Tell The Truth. Shortly after that I did apologetics with Mormons for a hour which i thought i would never do in my life. I sincerely thank Preston, Jackie, Tiffany Buckner, Pastor Phillip Mitchell, VADO, Bryce Crawford and many others for being so influential in my journey where im at right now and God has done so much work in me through the both of yall💯‼️

Jackie and Preston I am a 63 year old woman who has loved God and has marveled at HIS mystery for so long. I only put that forward for context. First I say to you both be ever encouraged!!! God is using you both in this piece of time for future generations. You are literally in the gym with God to stand as pre cursers to the witnesses in Revelation. So continue to stand therefore. I love that you continue to confess and speak out loud all the parts of your journey. Know that the hardness in the journey bears out his GOODNESS. God bless and keep you 🙏🏾

Miss Jackie, I watched this video and decided to open my Bible to study. When I opened it, it opened to Psalms 120. I think this is a great word for you my dear. May God keep and bless your beautiful family and may your season of rest be as fruitful as your season of work. Much love! Praise the God Almighty ❤❤❤!!!

I just started watching, With The Perry's, this year. I have loved your Podcast, your different speaking events and tours. You both are dynamic individually and as a couple. When I first heard the nonsense being put out, I started praying for you all individually and as a couple. And, yes, God will use things to help keep us in line. I too experience this. I will truly miss you both. Take care, heal mentally, physically and spiritually. Love The Perry's ❤

Get in the word, podcasts , sermons, reading. Watch their past podcasts. I know the feeling, but I understand what they're talking about. We're living in a time where social is something a lot of us have massive exposure to social media. A recent research study even showed more than 80% of people look at their phones does time the day. But another study also proved that time in the Bible can improve our overall health and Church attendance too. If you think about it, social media portrays lifestyles that seem great and glamourous, but leaves some isolated. The enemy unfortunately uses social media, but it's also why when people use it, we must use it to glorify God. I hope that have a well rested break from social media

If you've ever seen a vine pruned, it's ruthless. They cut back the branches right back to the stem. You think, that thing is never going to bear fruit again! But next year, it's more fruitful. - Derek Prince. I went to your conference in the valley (LA) - you guys are bearing fruit. Stay strong. Stay connected to the vine. Stay Filled and stay free- the Father is pruning you. Don't give up. John 15. I am praying for you.

I love you guys so much, this is a season of my time with JESUS listening to you both has really helped me, I listen to Tiphini Montgomery and Jerry Flowers, but right now I'm listening to you guys for this season. And I have been convicted and taught so much from the both of you. People don't read their word and point the finger at you judging GOD have mercy on them they'll be dealt with. Go get your rest and spend time with our FATHER GOD and keep hitting the enemy where it hurts because it's needed I was lukewarm and thank GOD for HIS grace and your KZbin content come across my page and caused me to wake up and now I'm hot and turned on the fire for GOD so HE'S going to take care of you and your ministry because I see what you guys do and it's blessed 🙏
