Agreed, although I highly disagree Obi-Wan would lose to Dooku at this point. He would be in his prime around 34 years of age, having become THE master of form 3. I would agree to meet in the middle and say Obi-Wan wouldn't win, but he most definitely wouldn't lose and just keep on the defensive until Qui Gon got back in the fight

Well, age is difficult for force users, as traditionally they have an age range for their prime, but they also grow much stronger with age, such as sidious and plo koon, so the physical prime isn’t equal to their force prime

the answer is simple. If Qui-Gon survived TPM, he would have uncovered Sidious plan and would oust him as the Sith Lord, so Sidious would have found a different way to assassinate him before that happened. Qui-Gon's death is a fixed point in order for Sidious' plan to succeed so, theres your answer.

Qui-gon's death was also a fluke, it was never meant to happen by the Forces design, Maul was destined to lose that first fight, but he didn't.

this was one of the best you have done in my opinion i dont usually comment but i love very what if you do and this one was definitely a top ten for me i do agree with some comments that it started to get a little boring hearing annakin win but what i liked about this is no one won. i love it when there is a slight sadness and a happiness to an ending after many characters die and you did it perfectly with this one. i definitley want more like this id also love to see one where you incorporate an original character in your story

Well done story. Anakin's death was the unexpected surprise, but it made sense. Maul wanted revenge, Palpatine wanted Anakin, Anakin was the Jedi chosen one, revenge against both was handled in one surprising stroke. I am glad you let Anakin's mother survive, I thought for sure she would die to do the whole drive Anakin to the dark side, but he was the targeted for death, not exploitation. Well done all around.

Secondly What if; Thrawn was a Jedi, Aayla Secura was the Chosen One and became Darth Talon, Sheem was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Padme was a Sith Lord trained by Palpatine Part 2, Grogu was Yoda’s son and trained with him on Dagoba, Sabine and Ezra fell in Love, Maul left the Sith and returned to Mother Talzin, and finally Darth Nihlis’ mask/rakghoul virus resurfaced during the Clone Wars?

I think Maul would attack Obi-Wan first, as he was the one who defeated Maul in the duel of fates, throwing him to the shaft by the debris. But if so, Dooku would then kill Anakin instead of Obi-Wan, and all will be the same. Also, Maul's survival in a duel against Dooku seems a little plot armor-ish to me. Would be fun if Maul survived the duel of fates, but then immediately fall by the hand of Dooku.

If anakin is 19 then that would make padme 24. So perhaps there's a chance that padme could be carrying the skywalker twins it's rare but sometimes just one night of love can result in conception. While I like your approach not to make Anakin the star of the story, I think this one went a bit too far. I cannot see any situation where Qui-Gon would be able to beat Dooku, especially considering that Qui-Gon is basically another 10 years older in this story and he was already on the brink when he was 10 years younger. While Dooku has a completely different fighting style than Maul, Qui-Gon's use of Ataru would drain his energy fast which Dooku with his far more energy conserving style could abuse. There might be a chance when fighting together with a more experienced Obi-Wan. But alone? Questionable. Also, while I think that Maul has a chance in lightsaber combat, he can only develop his force abilities up to his highest potential which - for sure - isn't as high as Sidious'. So I think in the end it would still end like it does in TCW. But in any case, I even doubt that Palpatine would have allowed Qui-Gon to train Anakin in the first place. I think he would have figured out quickly that he would be the biggest threat to his plan and would have tried to assassinate him asap.

I just can't see this happening, obi wan had had to concentrate to so much as move qui gons lightsaber, I can't see him being able to tear parts out of the wall or bring down the ceiling or whatever it was that he did, I just can't see this happening. Also I don't think that maul would kill the jedi, he showed clearly when he fought sidious in canon that he has a full idea of the strength of sidious, he would be fully aware that he needs all the help he can get against sidious, he can always kill the jedi afterwards if he wants to.
