I'm... Going to agree with others on this one. Super 17 wasn't good for the overall story, really, really, and made very little sense overall. Adding to this is the fact that this 17 is very different from that one. The personality and such are extremely different in the overall scheme of things and 17 has shown to have the best wishes for everybody and everything before his personal wishes. Literally.

Also MITHiCOOL Gamer I myself am more of the opinion that they weren't made by someone stronger than Zen-Oh, but were actually made by Zen-Oh as Zen-Oh just means Omni-KIng (that's how it gets translated into English) and therefore for all we know Zalama is Zen-Oh's name where as Zen-Oh is just the title.

Honestly for how goofy S17 was in the original GT you have the opportunity to play on the fact that 17 is more impactful in this timeline than canon. Heck have it happen in conjunction with the dark dragons as a key point for Raditz himself, trying to save his friend whilst entrusting Goku and the others with saving the planet.

Well, at least one wish would have to be used to stop the rest of the universe from being consumed. So unless it was worded properly they'd only be able to return one of them to adult form. That is assuming that the Namekian dragon balls can overcome the ill effects of the black star dragon balls.

What If Thanos snapped 1/2 of the Dragon Ball Z Universe away?,. No specific time placement. If you do try this though, I would recommend just focusing on the main characters who would be erased instead of every single person/being in the series.

@@wolfgod6443 I'd imagine we'd see super Nappa, Golden Freiza and Golden Cooler, Super Golden Cell, and maybe, with the combined minds of Myuu and Gero, create a device that overwhelms 17 to get Super 17 to work. cliche i know but it could happen, though that would mean a part where the device is destroyed and current 17 and evil 17 fight within the fusion...so maybe not.... that or, in the lead up to the revived villains, the evil 17 plays switcheroo with the current 17 and we have an evil double portion before the main event.

That said, that does bring up a cool story idea that may see this as the perfect and convenient time to have Cooler and his forces return to have his hand at the Dragonballs once more (this of course to setup a confrontation between the 2 ice brothers). then to have an interlude all-out 3 way between resurrected Frieza Forces vs the Cooler Force vs the Z-fighters before Myuu and Gero crash proceedings. Heck this part of the story could be greatly expanded upon given the original arc was pretty short and lousy the first tinge around.

@Mustiboi Salman in fact, before Super 17 even becomes a thing with Myuu and Gero, this could be an entire arc within itself and explored greatly. I mean seriously, all old foes come back to fight the Z-fighters, literally resurrected Frieza Force vs Cooler Force [vs Z-fighters], Golden Frieza vs Golden Cooler (to determine who fights the Saiyans), reunion between Raditz, Vegeta, and Nappa however brief, Cell vs Goku/Gohan, a potential grand culmination between all major players throughout the series and if things really get out of hand get help from from U6 Saiyans and Broly, could have Broly and Kale meet for the first time. Though at this point i may be a bit too Grande. Then proceedings halt or end with the emergence of Super17 after maybe Cooler is sent packing and Frieza and everyone else who escaped goes back to hell.

@MasakoX What if Cell used Vegeta's fake moon trick to turn into his own twisted version of the great ape? He has Saiyan DNA and a tail. In addition, when Dr Gero got Vegeta's DNA, chances are he saw him and Gohan turn into a great ape, not only seeing the power of the form but also seeing that you don't need to be a full-blooded Saiyan to achieve it.

I would go for it and include Super 17, but have the original 17 try and resist the machinations of his former master and the alien cyborg. The biggest problem with Super 17 originally was how there was just no sense or reason to either of 17s, they were just there, fused, and then blown up. Maybe instead Yacha'ing Krillin, 18 and he reach out to 17 and pull the real one back from his madness.

Unless I'm mistaken, he still had to go through the whole slow process of transforming, and those Blutz Waves from the fake moon were still spread out so anyone with a tail could change. The transformation with the Blutz Wave Generator was focused 100% on Vegeta, and the transformation was a lot quicker. In this What-If, all of Raditz's kids, as well as Trunks and Goten, have their tails. I mean, it worked out for Ranch here and Trunks can go Super Saiyan 4, but do we really need three rampaging Great Apes hindering them when they can avoid it easily?

I think that's smart because bringing back old villains, including Golden Frieza and potentially other real threats (*cough* Golden Cell) is definitely going to be a much more complicated plot than it was in the original. So now it's the Shadow Dragons which are the more minor plot. Then again, anything is possible with that mysterious benefactor still lying in wait.
