There's always a chosen one, or multiple, in each era to restore the balance. Luke and Leia against the Empire, Rey and even Kylo/Ben against the First and Final Orders. But of course, Anakin will always be THE Chosen One.

@@generalkenobi470 I thought the Chosen One refers to the Chosen one in the prophecy. Who is desten to bring balance to the Force. And it is Chosen ONE. Luke, Leia, or even Rey (despite the fact that I did not like her and return of the Palpatine just does not make sense after Anakin brought balance to the force) could be a Hero. They brought peace, freedom, justice and security to their new galaxy. But they did it as they wanted. It wasn't like a destiny. It is fine if sombody just calls anyone as a Chosen one. I am okay with it. Chosen one could be in any prophecy. But still only Anakin is desten to bring balance to the Force, and the Force Priestesses would only accuse Anakin's failure. Of course, it is a personal opinion. It is only certain that Anakin is THE Chosen One. Maybe the darkside of Sequels clouded my vision so that the clear evidence about Rey being another chosen one was hidden to me.

I interpret the chosen one idea in star wars as both a designation and mantle. Anakin was made by the force to be the chosen one, its his designation and Intended identity. He would bring balance to the force, but the force is always in motion, there will come a time where free will allowing individuals to make choices that CAN unbalance the force to do so again. Anakin got rid of the republic and Jedi, which balanced the light side by removing the dogmatic and blind order that had been the representation of the light. Their presence disrupted balance because they had become so complacent and decadent in their ivory towers that they wouldn't even free the mother of the chosen one, much less help the people in the outer rim. Unfortunately to do this the scales needed to be drastically thrown to the darkside and for 20 years Anakin payed for the sins he both chose and had to commit. He finished the first cycle off and balanced the force with the same motivation as what caused his fall; love. This love also acted as the passing of the torch, with the role of balancing the force going to Luke, who didn't need to bring it into balance, but maintain it. Unfortunately he had to start off at step one, which allowed for the twisted mind of sidious to bend the force in a way that swung the balance out of alignment. Like never actually failed to maintain the balance while he was actively putting that pressure on himself. His failure was in training his son. Luke was a true Jedi, but that's not what the galaxy needed. They needed something new, something that came from beyond the scope of their religion. That was Rey, who along with Ben Skywalker were destined to ensure that anakins sacrifice would not mean nothing and that the last true sith died. Their struggles represent alignments in the force you can't designate as inately Jedi or sith. Rey using lightning in the context she did wasn't like any other examples of the way the move is fueled, yet there's no rule saying that sith lightning could only be made the way sidious and Dooku did. We also have force judgement as a light side ability, leading me to infer that the force can be used to produce lightning in many ways and Rey didn't actually use what we would call sith lightning, just electricity powered by desperation, a desperation that ultimately came from her ties to the light. If Dooku harboured that much ligjt in him hed be conflicted and unable to channel his rage and HATE into it. The chosen one lineage was a domino effect started by anakin and carried on as the force stabilizes it's precarious balance. I have my criticisms of how the sequels handled.... Everything but I'd rather use my nerd brain to do their job and make it make sense and make it... Decent, rather than just waste my energy hating it for being a souless corporate cash grab trifecta. I'm genuinely annoyed at how dirty Rey, Finn and Kylo were done. Some clone wars tier writing and we'd all love them but nooo we get CW flash season 6 level ​@@Namedoesntexist_00

Here's 3 interesting what if's • What If Anakin Skywalker had a little sister. - the sister could also be force sensitive and trained as a jedi as well. How would she effect the story. • What If Anakin Skywalker was a Mandalorian Jedi - he could be found on Mandolore and maybe find the Darksaber • What If Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were half brothers. - Shmi could have been married and had Obi-Wan but they separated. Anakin would be born the same way and over the course of the Story they discover the truth.

I've listened both parts and think you two did a wonderful job. Similar to your What if Anakin trained Rey video I knew her interaction with Yoda and Obi wan would have a positive effect on her. I guess what gets me is strange lore you and PPSW have created as result. So the will of the Force decided to have two time lines to maintain the balance of the force? Ok, but does that mean? The new post Prequel timeline has a version where Dathan grows up and leaves Exegol without fear of his father and is able to live happily with his family new timeline. Is Rey found by the new Jedi by Kenobi remembering his time with her and Leia becomes her master? And does the new post Sequel time still have the OG Anakin Force Ghost? Are there two Anakins or did they become one? How does Finn feel about being in a Jedi Order with Ben? Two former First Order members training the next generation of Jedi would be something. You guys both told this story really well for Anakin and Rey though. The aftermath of both alternate timelines leaves open many possibilities. My only gripe is the 'Will of the Force' to create two timelines is something I don't understand. Why does the Force chose two timelines to create balance? Rey and Anakin handle their tasks really well don't get me wrong. But I always found the Force Priestess concept odd and maybe the issues I have stem from that. If you guys ever decide to do a part two to this you have a range of possibilities. This was enjoyable thank you so much both of you. Also is a slight copy-paste of my comment on PPSW, hopefully edited it properly for you TSWG.

The fourteenth video of the campaign: I wonder what you could cook up with this idea - "What if Anakin died in the Battle of Coruscant ?". I was personally interested in seeing what would happen if Anakin crashed into a munitions crate or something, dying in the cockpit of his crashed fighter. How would that affect Obi-Wan and Sidious's plans ? Maybe Dooku could finally convince Obi-Wan to join him, or something else. Perhaps with Dooku arrested, the Jedi order would believe him and stop Palpatine, either killing him or arresting him. For the Jedi, the prophecy of the Chosen One would turn out to have been wrong, but in reality, Anakin not living to join Sidious would've probably been a better fate for the galaxy. Alternatively, Sidious could perhaps still salvage the situation, making his empire stronger. I think it could be another 2 part episode

What if the SDF 3 (Robotech) made its way into the Star Wars Galaxy? Clone Wars has a lot of potential as I would love to see Alpha and Beta veritechs go up against the separatists. The SDF's main gun would be a game changer. Max and Miria's younger daughter might be a prize Sidious would want given her powers. Can a song bring peace to the galaxy or does the Empire rise even faster? What if the Republic found Eternia? Do the jedi help new allies to succeed or does Greyskull fall to a Sidious/Skeletor alliance? Who will gain the strength, the power to become Masters of the Universe!!! What if GI Joe (a real American Hero) joined the Republic against the Separatists? Does the Bad Batch become even better under Sgt. Slaughter's training? While I absolutely despise the live action version of Sabine, I don't think I've ever heard a single What If focusing on her.

Haven't watched. The title makes it sound like they're going to literally fall through a wormhole and end up in each other's timelines but I'm imagining a situation where their roles are reversed and Rey is the chosen one in the prequel era and Anakin is the angsty orphan abandoned on a desert planet after the fall of the empire. Might be a bit harder to hide Luke and Leia from their mother than it was from Anakin. Also does this imply King Amidala to make the timeline fit? Or would Rey fall for someone like Bail Organa instead?

What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
