If I could give just a bit of constructive criticism: in the part between Vegeta and Guru, the music was a bit too loud, I could still hear ya Masako but the music kinda got in the way a bit. But damn it was still pretty intense with Vegeta. Unlocking his potential sounds cool! Didn't realize Lang being there changed so much!

It's very likely because most fanfictions/what if scenarios tend to "forget" that getting stronger on one's own merit wasn't always Vegeta's mindset. By the time of Namek he's still very opportunistic relying on his natural abilities and Zenkai boosts to do the heavy lifting. In general that was a very Saiyan way of thinking. Their strict class system rarely allowed the changes and training with the goal of getting stronger wasn't something they bothered with.

Ohh yeah. If he doesn't know about Ginyu's shape change then I could see him getting shifted and having to fight Goku. You mean that zenkai boost he got from Krillin blasting through his chest? Tbh I think the potential unlock is probably strong enough to make him more powerful then just that moment. At the least but I'm not sure what exact multiplier he'd get compared to Gohan or Krillin having their potential unlocked.

Honestly the gang might get their wishes since Shen is there to smooth things along but it might just be like the regular show since the time would be taken up with the meeting of Shen and his gym bro sibling. Vegeta is gonna Vegeta and love messing up Frieza so he might not even notice Parunga being summoned!

The part with Guru and Vegeta was so emotional. You can tell Guru's speech has a impact into Vegeta's mind, even though he won't admit it. I wish that it happen in the Canon Story. It's a great kick off for a Redemption Arc.

Well, he not only got his potential unlocked, but got healed. So possibly he got a bit of a zenkai boost too. Even without a zenkai boost though, that unlocked potential probably put him at the level of goku in the original when he arrived on namek

That's original boost after fighting Ginyus put him around first form Frieza. If he got his potential stacked as well he's going to be powerful. Probably close to where he was at the end of the original Frieza fight.

I would say Vegeta getting his potential unlocked by Elder Guru is a bad idea, but I can understand Guru is doing it because of the Ginyu Force coming and Frieza still a problem. 👍 I'm curious on how much of boost Vegeta will get here from Elder Guru, because it wouldn't be as good as Gohan's boost, but it should be better than Krillin's boost so it most likely in that middle area. 🤔 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

I can see this going one of two ways: Vegeta’s character arc either happens earlier than the original, or he will start to feel less inclined to help Goku and his friends after the Ginyus are dealt with

Depending on scenarios Vegeta could have more pain. If Ginyu grabs his body Goku and him will both have a zenkais. Or being over confident only to be beaten up again by Frieza.

Ooooh Vegeta with his potential unlocked? That’s… a double edged sword, but an enticing one. On the one hand, I believe this power will make Vegeta easily able to take out the Ginyu Force, with only the Captain possibly being a nuisance due to the Body Change ability, as it seems in the main timeline, Vegeta didn’t know of the technique. As for Frieza, I believe Vegeta can definitely hang with his second form now, possibly even third form as well. But I just don’t see Vegeta, even with this new power, able to topple final form Frieza.

@@devonstidham9234 yeah I definitely see that happening Vegeta maybe teaming up with the home team(The Heroes & the Namekian Inhabitants) but he still Vegeta his ego hasn't been fully shattered but good thing is Ginyu possibly can't tap into Vegeta full reserves so maybe Nail,Lang or Goku can hold off Ginyu long enough for Vegeta to get his body back and possibly humble the prince to see that his arrogance can cost him greatly as he was humiliated in and outside his own body hopefully that make him wiser during the Android & Cell Saga espically since I know gero knows about Lang being the Eternal Dragon or at least Beast Human Hybrid of somekind

This is awesome part to What if Shenron was a Z-Fighter was surprised how scared Shen Lang was to Vegeta but if think about it and heard his thoughts make sense for him be scared of Vegeta sense doesn't have his Dragon powers and I like that Nail was able get Shen Lang to regain his courage and fighting spirit back by show much he actually grown and like scene between Vegeta and Elder Guru very emotional scene that made believe that would joined them because what Guru said and like that Shen Lang offended Vegeta from now understanding what like be afraid I'm so excited for the next part but have ask where Gohan and Krillin in this part
