The conflict between Algeria and Morocco is due to the Sahrawi breakaway state from Western Sahara. Algeria and Sahrawi are friendly, but Morocco claims all of Western Sahara, which is where Sahrawi is. Algeria is pretty much Sahrawi's only major friend, as their land border touches with Algeria. But, as Morocco claims Sahrawi and Algeria is sending supplies, Morocco is very unhappy, which leads to Algeria being unhappy. Very condensed version of the story.
