I find it pretty petty how the what if has the characters seeing Peter as a villain. While it’s messed up to give into hateful urges, they should have supported him instead of turning him away, yet they’re even more surprised when he keeps doing what he does when they’re the ones who keep turning him away again and again. I wouldn’t have blamed Peter if after losing his sight, he turned his back on everyone like how they did to him, but I’m glad Pete still got to be happy in a way.

Kravan’s Last Hunt and The Gauntlet +Grim Hunt both are hit stories to me and the concept of Spider-Man being so widdled down by back to back things popping off to the point of sickly exhaustion AND THEN the real mess starts can be used in plety of different ways. What I DON’T like is the whole “If I start killing I’ll never stop” nonsense

There is a reason for that. At the time, Peter was the avatar of The Other (the reason for his organic webbing), and he was truly in the center of the web of life. After One More Day, he lost the organic webbing and the new Other avatar became Kane.

My most memorable memory about spider-man is this story as a kid I walked into a store and picking up a random comic it was the issue where they manage to kill kaine I never knew it was him and thought it was Peter it scarred kid me for a while and still sticks with me to this day

An important detail left out of this video is that the lion monster is actually Vladimir Kravinoff, Kraven's eldest son. Kaine was the one who killed Vladimir before Kraven died in the Last Hunt. Mattie Franklin was sacrificed by the Kravinoff's to resurrect Vladimir as a test to see if it would work for Kraven and since Vladimir was resurrected as a lion hybrid they decided they needed the real Spider-Man. After Grim Hunt Kraven ended up killing Vladimir out of mercy saddened that his son was reduced to a lion hybrid monster.

You know I could go with a what if where Spider-Man kills bad guy and comes out ok. Like this is Marvel they are more ok with killing then DC, a quarter of all their heroes even the most popular ones are killers in their own right. Wolverine, Captain American, Hulk, Thor , Iron Man, Black Widow and so one. And honestly I thinks it weird that every writer goes this route of the hero kills one person then they act like a serial killer.
