This guy managed to create a compelling, emotional, and complex narrative that perfectly ties together all three trilogies, while keeping all the major characters and concepts from the terrible sequels disney gave us. Not only that, he manages to seamlessly weave in elements of legends such as Revan, the Star Forge and Mara Jade. Absolutely flawless storytelling from a true Star Wars fan. Thank you for all your hard work, I truly loved this series.

The heart break is that I can already see the Disney Executive tearing this apart. It doesn't sell enough lego sets. We need to devote whole segments of space battles to weird ships so that you can sell a model for 300USD. Where are the cute alien things that can sell plushies? Rey didn't follow the Disney Princess method that is tried and true and makes investors feel more confident. Needed way more helmets to sell. Didn't introduce enough random new characters to fuel spin offs and novels and comics. You can already see how the market research, the stock holders, the demographic targeting starts to devour the qualitative experience of a good story and sterilises it into a quantitative "by the numbers" experience. Art and Capitalism are natural enemies that need each other to survive, and when one gets big enough to completely over the power they both die.

I can't believe how well written this is, full of action, tension, love, loss, redemption and purpose. George Lucas Star Wars doesn't need redemption... what It's a better version of the sequels but let's not deify it either. Some poor story elements can't be helped, like bringing back Palpatine, as this story uses the sequels as base. Still, it didn't need to rely SO much on force ghosts in an attempt to artificially raise the stakes. Why is Revan even there? He never showed up before but now he wants to inform Rey about a prophecy that didn't even pan out? Bad writing. And then all the other force ghosts. I guess if you're going to bring back Palpatine, you have to bring Anakin back as well, to avoid breaking the chosen one prophecy. Better than "I'm all the Sith. And I'm all the Jedi", but still pretty lame. I too enjoyed this "what if" saga, but let's not pretend that it doesn't have flaws, or that it is what the sequels should have been. This story only further reduces the galaxy to the Palpatine/Skywalker bloodlines. The best way to honor the legacy story/characters is to leave their achievements alone, let them fade gracefully into the background and make a new story with new villains that moves on from the same old Jedi/Sith conflict.
@growuprecords9132 Жыл бұрын
Imagine Mark Hamill as Luke looks to you through the screen telling his final line in the last frame of this beautiful, poetic script. It really is the perfect ending of the Skywalker saga and a powerful reassurance of what 'the force' means to so many Star Wars fans.

The use of Keanu Reeves for Revan is a masterstroke. At first I thought it was just using him as fancasting, reminded me of a rumor or two of him being approached for the role. But then to use him to have "The Architect" scene in a way that is satisfying to the lore is a move of such beauty and depth that boggles the mind. And it's not even the best scene in this thing. I loved this from start to finish. The ending gave me chills. I am on board with whatever story you tell next in whichever world you pick. But even if this is the only story you feel you have in you, thank you for sharing it.

This is a story that understands Luke Skywalker fundamentally. The symbol of hope, compassion and leadership. Thank you PRISM for telling this story. This is wishful thinking, but I hope in a decade or so this story is adapted as the true sequel trilogy to George's original saga. You have captured the essence and spirit of Star Wars as a narrative. Every character in your story is empowered and is given the respect they deserve.

The final minutes of this brought me to tears. Every single character was given an amazing arc, and you pulled in some surprises from lore that felt needed. This is the Luke Skywalker we all wanted to see; not some overpowered God-like figure, but a wise master who sees the best in all of us despite the choices we’ve made and having the faith that we’ll find our place and purpose. Thank you for giving us this three part series. May the Force be with you, always.

Wow... I have a hard time conjuring words because I'm _overwhelmed_ with emotion. 😢 Former thoughts of betrayal from Disney are replaced with this beautifully-woven story that has more love sewn into it than anything the fan base has received today. What I cannot produce in words, my heart is manifesting in sheer joy. This is--hands down--one of the best Star Wars fan productions I've ever witnessed. Everything from the AI-generated images, to the music selected, to the brilliant writing sets this _miles_ apart from anything produced today.

After watching all three of your "What If" videos I can honostly say that this is how you write a cohesive trilogy. This is how you honor the legacy characters for the millions of fans who loved them for decades. This is how you create compelling new characters for the next generation. This is how you tie all nine episodes together across the saga. This is how you make someone excited to see the continuing adventures of Rey, Finn and Poe in Episode Ten. This is how you pass the torch in a satisfying manner. Thank you again and May The Force Be With You. Always.

Thank you, that’s all the words that can convey what I’m feeling. I a man of 25 years cried more than once at the finally of this project, I couldn’t believe it was feasible to make a better ending to the saga, I couldn’t imagine turning this shallow caskets of characters into fully developed history driven future important characters, I couldn’t believe there was more to the galaxy far far away, but you proved me wrong and I’m so grateful for that. I can only beg that this story doesn’t stay here and gets adapted to a wider audience, this would make another generation of Star Wars fans not rally and discuss what could have been, but stand in unison and agree that this story what George this with his saga and cinema as a whole was changed for good and has now passed down to good hands. Once again thank you for the ride.

First of all Keanu and Mara....epic amounts of awesome! I have binged this all today, from beginning to end. This is beyond wonderful storytelling. This calls to the stories of 'legends' and deserves its place amongst them. You gave respect to all of it's characters, you never brought anyone down to lift another character up and never stomped all over what made Star Wars so great and profound to begin with. Wow. One of my first movie memories was watching Return of the Jedi in the theaters when I was a kid. As a teenager and young adult I’d read all the novels all the comics everything up until about the end of the Yuzon Vong era when things got too dark I was like a walking wookiepedia before there was such a thing. So when I tell you that this was some of the finest StarWars content I’ve ever seen understand the weight of those words. Not since Zahn’s original Heir to the Empire series have I seen such a worthy successor of the original films. You get it. You really get it. Your story telling and vision is what the industry needs right now as you can see the same old same old failing on both the big screen and little. I would wish you success but I know you’re going to get there. Thank you for making an old StarWars fan smile. 💪🏾🙌🏾

Bravo. The intensity was deserved. You know how to write a good story! All of the other new Star Wars movies didn’t earn a lick of love, because there weren’t any personal stakes for the characters. The writers assumed we’d love them because, well, they’re the main characters right!? Wrong. Props to you, Prism! You did what they couldn’t.
