Just from the info we have it sounds like it would have flopped with how much they were trying to do with the symbiote, black cat, meeting MJ and a serum to bring back Gwen Stacy. If they did one where he meets MJ in group therapy and they teased the symbiote or even gave it to him at the end that could be good, and you could still have black cat being an antagonist in the movie. She could even be working for kingpin or another classic Spiderman villain. Just my opinion

I think there were plans to make a Sinister Six movie before TASM 2 and this was teased in that deleted post credit scene of TASM 2, there were even plans to bring Norman back for Green Goblin as his head was put in Cryostasis and the Syrum would keep him alive.

This serum definitely sounds like water from DC Comics’ Lazarus Pits. But I would like to see Andrew Garfield’s Spider Man get the Symbiote suit and turn into Bully Garfield! I think that’d be some interesting drama if Peter gets the symbiote RIGHT after Gwen’s death to amplify it more. And show how he pushes away the people that could help him and how he as to learn to let go and move on or he’ll lose mj. Like MJ being the one person that could ease the pain from Gwen and he almost loses her/pushes her away. But she sticks by his side either way and that could be one of the things that makes Peter fall in love with her. And he realizes he need her

Heres what i want the story to be if they ever make TASM 3 Peter tried the serum on gwen which he thought didn't work and make him lose his mind and stopped pulling his punches and meet cat girl or meet another villain Etc. Then gwen stacy actually woke up after a week(or day smth) but here memories all wiped out. She had a normal life without memories for some time and get bit by a radioactive spider and obviously turn to gwen stacy(spiderman/women) and meet peter and peter tries to get her back and the writers can continue the rest lol

Id like it if after the 2nd movie the sinister 6 would be assembled but there goal wasnt to defeat spieer manbut take his blood since they couldve been hired by the jackal who would stage everyhing like ottos accident and then peter would get the black suit and jackal makes a clone of spider man who frames him so this enragens peter along with the death of gwen so the sinistet six tries to stop him but he takes them all out and its a massive battle between jackal and spider man and jackal is actually gwens uncle who is angry for the death of george and gwen since souder man couldnt save them. After the foght jackal would lose and peter almost kills him and he realises the symbiote is wrong and has a mental fight with it and it attaches to eddie brock who has been having fued with peter the whole movie.
