I can't imagine Bismark letting Germany grow this close to Britain and France if it meant making the empire more liberal, same for Wilhelm I. And Wilhelm II would never accept an alliance unless Edward VII didn't go out of his way to antagonize him, which he wouldn't. The German Empire would have begrudgingly grown closer to Russia via Austria.

One of the better and more totally realistic scenarios. Things get butterflied away after making so many changes, so it’s still hard to predict, but you make a compelling case. I do wonder *what* would be the big war in this timeline and if it would happen prior to 1940’s and the advent of atomic (and, a decade later, nuclear) weapons. If not it could be more devastating than any single war but - perhaps have avoided the holocaust and the creation of Israel as a consequence and the subsequent destabilization of the Middle East (not that it took much).

One nitpick: the Slavs are not all Orthodox. Poland, Czechia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Slovakia are all Catholic not to mention Bosniaks are Muslim though their inclusion in early Pamslavism was not universal
