This scenario sounds like a complete and utter nightmare. I have a whole new appreciation for the constitutional republic I live in.

The narrative that the American Revolution was fully a republican revolt is...odd suffice it to say. The leaders of the revolution were elites so if anything the new American Republic was led by oligarchs who, while espousing democratic ideals, fought the revolution to defend their business interests and the influence they held when they were more autonomous. Also, loyalty to Britain in the colonies was not loyalty to the British monarchy but rather the British government which was largely democratic in its own right. Parliament heavily decided on policy during the war in Britain and largely held the political power at this point as the monarchy was shifting towards a more figurehead position. The Hamilton plan did not advocate for a monarchal figure of any kind. It still stated that the executive would be chosen and not hereditary and not bear the religious and cultural symbol aspects of a monarch. This was actually the policy chosen as Washington was not required to give up the presidency. He could keep running and likely would be able to stay as president for the rest of his life. But he gave it up and set a standard that others followed until it was made law after FDR's death. Overall, this requires a character assassination of all historical figures involved and misunderstands the US public and politicians early on.
