If I had to modify the story, I'd have Starscream revealed to have sided with Palpatine in order to double-cross Megatron, planning to triple-cross Palpatine afterwards, only for Palpatine to double-cross Starscream with an experimental restraining bolt.

That could work in a sequel, with the Decepticons reeling from the loss of Megatron, and their greatest weapon. And Palpatine having lost a large portion of his remaining allies. Starscream and Palpatine forming a partnership would be in character for both of them with both characters taking advantage of each other in order to gain power.

The one thing I gotta say is that was an awesome story. The only thing I would change is having the Death Star II become a Unicron analogue, a new faction and not just a decepticon. Of course then you would the double whammy of Optimus and Megatron having to team up against a bigger threat as per usual, not just the Empire and Rebels. I also would have liked Darth Vader to become the Galvatron to this new monster, even if it was just the transformed armour, so Luke could have a climactic showdown.

What if the DeathStar firing at Scariff and Jedha attracted Unicron's attention. Jedha had a lot of Kyber crystals inside it and firing the superlaser amplified the energy released in the crystals attracting Unicron. The hypermatter core on the DeathStar and fuel on Star Destroyers is very appetizing to Unicron due to its high energy and would love to consume it. Also a lot of core worlds have planetary shields which requires a lot of power like Coruscant. This attracts Unicron too as it's a lot of refined metal that he can consume. So when the DeathStar showed up at Alderaan, Unicron also arrived there too. By the time the Millennium Falcon arrived, there's an all out battle with fleets of Imperial Star Destroyers arriving as well to distract Unicron so that the DeathStar can escape. The DeathStar's superlaser initially damaged Unicron but he quickly regenerated his armor just like the Borg and is now harvesting the superlaser's energy as it impacts its surface. It would leave Alderaan alone since it's mostly a natural world without a lot of energy to warrant consuming it. Unicron would later transform when it arrives at Coruscant literally swatting the thousands of Imperial ships and the orbital defense stations.

This was awesome, loved it! My only complaint is the conceit that because the Death Star was imperial the resulting Transformer would be evil. The Autobot Matix of Leadership would not create Decepticons. If this had been the Bayverse's All-spark, or even Vector Sigma, sure, But the Matrix which is filled with the collective wisdom of past Autobot leaders would not create an evil robot.

I would have made a scenario where unicron awakens in. The Star Wars galaxy and the empire sends the Death Star to destroy him, only for the super laser to ricochet of the dark gods armor and destroy a near by planet instead😂 and then our good old matrix bearer contacts the rebels to help them defeat unicron, and our favorite former gladiator turned warlord being a wild card that wants to rule the galaxy for himself, opposing both our heroes and Palpatine

Meh, not quite. Unicron was a far more terrifying force of nature, and probably could've destroyed DeathStar in a 1-on-1. Unicron can wipe out planets outright if he chooses. He also has a much wider array of powers.

I think the story would have benefited from the lack of that whole and a slight angle change...blade through the arm and chest as it should. During victory speech by badguy. Gets hit by beam...controls suit through force manipulation.... (they are sentient thinking creatures and the suit would be a weaker and newer bot so easy to control thoughts.) Though it won't last long. As they are a collective essentially. The suit spits him out. He then reaches to Luke and as the similar last step uses the force to crush the self destruct unit in it and blow up the area. Death star minis win fight. Go on lol

@@cobeoe although Sentinel Prime was brought back to life by the matrix and in Bayformers he’s even more evil than Megatron. So the Bayformers Matrix doesn’t discriminate about what or who it brings to life. And given that Megatron, and Optimus’s designs are based on their Bayformers incarnations in this story, then the Bayformers rules are what apply here. Also in Cyberverse, Megatron X hacked the Matrix so he could use it. And when regular Megatron got the hacked matrix, he also became a far better person than he was before.

If it's the matrix of leadership which turns the deathstar into a transformer first of all the matrix is an autobots artifact so most likely the deathstar would be an autobot and wouldn't hurt the humans on board but he may force them to abandon him and I could see him face off against unicorn and I could see emper palpatine on a primitive planet screaming what happened and having no way off the planet 😂 Sparing the humans but trapping them on a planet because there evil and I also could see the deathstar deciding to look for Optimus prime and autobots the and sending an message to the Rebel bass saying we're to find palpatine and Darth Vader and that they don't have very much in weapons a few blasters and lightsaber just be careful an then he leaves to find more like him self 😉 😊

Not quite, this is the Bayformers version of the matrix which brings anything to life regardless of morality. Sentinel Prime for instance was worse than Megatron himself, yet the matrix still brought him to life. And the same matrix was created from the Allspark. So yeah, different rules apply here.
