This had no right be so tense and so hilarious at the same time. This was only TWO scenes! The meeting and the murder but there was so much going on. I got scared for moment when Palpatine called Thrawn's name thinking "Oh shit their dead" but then Palps yelling the about the Jedi taking Ovah blew the tension into hilarious absurdity. I'm gonna Head Canon this as Anakin seeing possible futures while doing death sticks with Master Yoda again. I don't know how you narrated this without laughing Quill. Great job.

Here’s my idea for a part 2: 13 BBY -Darth Vader, now Emperor, makes reforms. He abolishes slavery, and he hears a rumour that Darth Maul is out there. The two Darths meet, and Vader reveals to Maul that Palpatine is dead, and Maul becomes Vader’s apprentice. However, Vader keeps Maul on a leash, due to Maul being impatient and overconfident, much like a younger Anakin, but Maul hasn’t learned a thing from his past defeats. -Wanting closure on Padme, Vader goes to Polis Massa for her medical records. He learns that while she has indeed died, she successfully delivered not just one, but two healthy children-a boy named Luke and a girl named Leia. -Vader, back on Coruscant, adds two and two together. Senator Bail and Queen Breha of Alderaan have a daughter named Leia who is about the same age as the Luke and Leia that Padme birthed, and she looks more like Padme than her parents. As for Luke, his whereabouts evade Vader. 12 BBY -Vader plans on getting custody of his daughter back, but Thrawn, fearing something similar to what happened with his sister, objects. Maul feels threatened, fearing that Leia would replace him. -Vader then decides to visit Tattooine, to pay Watto a visit. He brings Maul along for backup, but when he feels Obi-Wan’s presence on the planet, he tells Maul to stay at the ship, not wanting to leave the cocky Zabrak unsupervised. -However, Maul doesn’t listen, and while Vader is heading off to Jabba’s palace, he sneaks off the ship, seeking out Kenobi. Obi-Wan ends up killing Maul, like he does in Rebels, but due to the tracking chip Vader implanted in Maul’s cybernetics, Vader knows exactly where his old mentor and friend is hiding. -Vader singlehandedly storms Jabba’s palace, kills the security, and interrogates Gardulla’s location on Nal Hutta out of Jabba, before killing the corpulent gangster. Vader allows the slaves to escape, even loot the palace. -Obi-Wan, fearing it’s no longer safe on Tattooine, visits the Lars homestead just as Vader does. Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber, but Vader is not here for a fight, even apologizing to Obi-Wan for the cocky Maul. However, Vader sees a glimpse of his son, and Obi-Wan gets defensive when Vader makes a comment about wanting his son back. The two men duel, with Obi-Wan able to repel Vader for the time being. -While Vader leaves for Nal Hutta, Obi-Wan decides to start to train Luke as a Jedi, with Luke wanting to protect his family from the Empire. 11 BBY -Vader attacks Nal Hutta, killing Gardulla. He forces the rest of the Hutts to release their slaves or die. Some comply, others don’t. -Wanting a new Sith apprentice, Vader stages a coup on Alderaan, resulting in the Organas being killed and Leia going missing. Leia has been brought to Mustafar, remote enough for nobody to question what the emperor of the galaxy is doing with the missing daughter of a murdered senator. -While Obi-Wan trains Luke to be a Jedi, Vader trains Leia to be a Sith, revealing their blood connection and leading her to believe anti-Empire insurrectionists killed her adoptive family. -The Organas’ deaths make them pro-Imperial martyrs, making rebellion harder. -Vader’s reforms come to Tatooine, with slavery abolished and Jabba’s palace turned into an Imperial garrison. The increase in employment makes Tatooine an idea planet for recruitment of stormtroopers. 10 BBY -Vader learns of Project Necromancer, which had failed due to Palpatine going senile and dying. However, it could still bear fruit, as Vader would like to revive Padme. -The increased Imperial activity on Tatooine results in Obi-Wan taking Luke to Dagobah, in order to train with Yoda. -While Vader finds out it’s far too late to bring Padme back, he does learn that the cloning project can be used to make sure he and Leia rule the galaxy, as father and daughter, for all eternity.
