Maybe Broly is fighting Hirudegarn but is still out of control destroying everything else and Cheelai comes in to help calm Broly but Hirudegarn knocks her to the floor knocking her out and Broly seeing snaps witnessing it and seeing her unconscious undergoes another transformation... Super Saiyan 4!!

@@adambump5297 it was Hoi, and he was a Kashvarian. Whos ancestors used Harudigarn to take over planets and eat their life energy. Hoi isnt as powerless as the movie makes him seem, during the movie they hint at hoi having conqured and destroyed several planets. (With the half of harudigarn he got from tapions brother.) But yeah, hes saddly not relivant in power to the main cast. Even though he could probably wipe out humanity alone. (Such as king Diamo piccolo.sr.)

Hirudegarn is actually one of my favorite movie villains, sure he didn't have a personality, but he didn't exactly need one, I mean he's a Kaiju, they only got a few things they gotta do, and Hirudegarn did all of it plus more, he's the embodiment of a kaiju with a pinch of anime pizzazz

Hirutagaan is a precursor entity, something left over from Zeno creating the universes, that can shift through the universes, on a whim consciously or unconsciously . Wouldn't object to learning more about Goku's Traffic Safety. Every now and then, I'll see it on the wiki, know it's a short about Goku helping raise road awareness and that's pretty much it. With that out of the way, I'd actually REALLY love to see Hirudegarn featured as a Giant Enemy in Xenoverse 2. Both forms, preferably with some form of transformation animation unique to it. We've already got Tapion in the game and even a quest to prevent it from awakening in him. Fighting Hirudegarn as a Raid Boss would be really cool!

@MasakoX If you ask me, I would have wrote the Shadow Dragons like this, mainly having two forms. First Form: Humanoid Form Second Form: Kaiju Form [They're dragons so why not? Syn Shenron's monster form would have to look like Godzilla Earth with some muscles; Eis Shenron and Nova Shenron's beast forms would look like a hybrid of Alatreon [Monster Hunter fame] and Monster X [Godzilla: Final Wars]; Oceanus Shenron's monster form would look like Ceadeus of Monster Hunter fame] Main inspirations: Godzilla, Monster Hunter, Magic the Gathering [Phyrexia to be specific], and bits of Ultraman.

You missed the best ending possibility! They assemble all the heroes like you said but realize they still can't beat him even at their combined power. Broly remarks this would be easier on Vampa with Baa. Vegeta says something like it would be better to have their tails so they could use Ozaru. Broly says he could go Ozaru whenever he wanted on Vampa because of the moon always being visible. Gohan, Piccolo, or Bulma could get the idea that using the Dragon Balls they could wish for all the Saiyans to have their tails back, and then to transport them plus Hirutagaan to Vampaa! Now we get a massive battle with Ozaru and Hirutagaan. Plus there is the lasting affect that all the Saiyans have their tails back. Do they keep them or do some remove them?

If you maybe want to go the route of giving Hirudagarn a personality, here's how I could revise it, though it may fall into "Deus Ex Machina" near the end. I would go the route of a villain like the Anti Monitor. A being that knows it's unstoppable and only exists to destroy everything. Make him a threat that could be nigh undefeatable without help. But the Dragon Team don't ask for help. The call for help would come from another universe Put Hirudagarn in Universe 11. The Justice League "Crisis on Infinite Earths" parallels would be too amazing. Have Jiren fight him, fairly evenly, before eventually getting defeated. This could shake him to his core and lead to the necessity to get in Universe 7 (through gritted teeth of course.) I think you could go through a bunch of character development for the Pride Troopers and the Saiyans. Especially Jiren and Goku, who have a bit of a ways to patch up their relationship since the tournament of power

I think it would be REALLY interesting if you had Vegeta/Goku/Gohan off-planet during Hirudagon's attack. Perhaps his attack comes at the moment of the Tournament of Power Arc! So all of Earth's most powerful characters are gone! And seeing as Tapion was coming after Trunks... THEN you could have Oozaru Trunks vs Hirudagon, with Oozaru Goten showing up to join in at the end. That would have been my vote for how that movie would go down.

Hirudagaan (or however you spell it, I'll just be calling him Large for simplicity) could be rewritten into a manifestation of Destructive energy, making him a true world breaker, and making Beerus and the other gods useless against it. If this was the direction they went in, they could use it as an excuse to re-introduce all the popular characters from the Tournament of Power, as something like Large could be a "fate of the multiverse at stake" kind of situation. I'd especially like to see this because we'd get a guaranteed giant monster fight in the form of Large VS Universe 3's Aniraza.

About the Ocarina thing - at that time in Japan (late 80s onward), Ocarinas were really popular thanks to a musician named Sojiro. So, lots of Japanese media (Zelda, My Neighbor Totoro, this movie, etc) included Ocarinas. It's certainly possible there's a link to Zelda, but it's more likely that it's due to the trend in Ocarinas at the time. There is certainly a place for the single gimmicky punch, but I agree it shouldn't be the final blow of a teamup movie. It's a good way to show the main character going all out and doing the heavy lifting, but the best way this has been handled was the Spirit Bomb against Vegeta where all the remaining characters were involved in some way, with two even handling the Spirit Bomb. Instead of having the Dragon Fist just one-shot the monster, it can be the tide-turning blow. A monster like Hirudegarn could be shown to no-sell all attacks (with the exception of your Brolly-great-ape kaiju fight interlude), but then Goku does his Dragon Fist. Blasting through the beast could give it a weak point for everyone to concentrate their attacks on, but the act of performing the move could leave Goku down, either by its sheer power or because Hirudegarn caught and hurt him the moment he finished the move. That could be the turning point to make it necessary for everyone to pull together for the finishing blow, with the weakened Goku adding to their combined effort at the last moment to push it over the edge and eradicate the monster.

Giant Piccolo is also an option, that could have be how they get to Vampa. During the fight he gets the Kaiju in a full Nelson and goku Instant transmissions them to vampa to minimize the damage to earth and to get broly to help out.

I think the offhand backstory raises some interesting possibilities. This thing was a demon god? What even is that? Like a god of destruction? A grand kai gone rogue?Something else entirely? And IT placed its form in a statue to purify people's ki? On purpose? Why? For good? To gain more power? Having this thing as an ancient power that has been absorbing both evil and energy for untold millennia could easily explain its incredible power and destructive nature. It needn't be sentient, all that evil might have overwhelmed what was there originally, but it could certainly add some depth to the character.

I think the best way to bring back Hirudigarn would be to have Broly and Goku team up for it. Perhaps Goku gets his tail back temporarily as he noticed that Broly almost manages to beat Hirudigarn's base form as his SSJ berserk form (which is basically Oozaru power in human form for Broly), so Goku asks for his tail back by Shenron for example and transforms into something silly like Oozaru God, turning all red and fiery and giant ape (sorta as a precursor to a canonised SSJ4?) Then we get a double team of Berserker Broly and Red God Ape Goku or something. :D

For the finishing team up attack: EVERYONE DOES A DRAGON FIST! Goku and vegeta hit first, then everyone else keeps punching one after another. Hirudegaan keeps taking a step back as he gets hit over and over from every DBZ fighter, then as the final punch collides (gohan maybe?) Hirudegaan's body is blown open and everybody explodes through his back!

The reason for Beerus and Whis to be out of the fight could be that Hirudegarn is immune to Devine ki. This would also cripple Goku and Vegeta, removing their more powerful forms as options, thus forcing them to turn to Frieza and Brolly for help.

Maybe Hirudegarn used to be an autonomous singular Entity of Destruction (just one for the whole Multiverse), existing solely to destroy the planets/universes that get too advanced or something. And maybe he existed way before Gods of Destruction did. But then Xeno created GoDs for every universe, and so, the Hirudegarn became useless, unneeded, so he was deactivated and left in the universe he was destroying last, which was U7. So the premise of the movie would be that something (or maybe someone) managed to reactivate Hirudegarn and he immediately flew over to the highest advanced nearby planet in the quadrant, which just turned out to be Earth!

my biggest wish for dragonball z was for 2 giants to fight. oozaru gohan vs oozaru vegeta, oozaru gohan or giant piccolo vs giant lord slug, or even an oozaru fighting hirudegarn.

I admit, I remembered the monster's name, but not the 'master'. Mainly due to the fact that Harudagaan was a playable character in one of the Dragonball games on the... PS2, I think?
