It would be funny if the announcer called the Imposter, "Crewmate", when selected on the character select screen, and only during victory animations does the announcer give the correct title, such as "Imposter Wins!" as a reference to that imposters are only truly revealed at the end of matches in the victory/defeat screens.

I had this idea of the Crewmate being a sort of echo fighter of the Impostor, except it would work a bit like Mario and Luigi, a couple of similar moves and specials, but have enough differences to make them different characters. This moveset could also incorporate the tasks that you do in Among Us, something that is also a big part of the game. So the Crewmate wouldn't be attacking their opponent with actual weapons (usually), they would be attacking with the different tasks that they can do and with words to damage their opponent's credibility.

22:21 I understand if you want the up special balanced like that and all, but honestly, I actually kinda like the idea of having the crewmate immediately chase after the impostor if you vent in its line of sight. Maybe it could be used in a way where if you, say, vent behind the crewmate, but the crewmate turns around only to just miss it and only saw the vent close, and if any other character isn’t in their line of sight, it’ll put suspicion on the last character it saw in that position before it turned away from them. If it sees the impostor vent entirely, it will try to chase the impostor down either until it has the impostor in its grasp, until it gets killed, or until an opponent attacks the crewmate and therefore starts chasing them instead. It could also put suspicion on or start chasing whatever character that happens to be close enough to the vent when a crewmate sees a character near the vent just as it closed, thinking that it had just exited the vent. I honestly think that it could work very well. Sorry if I made this sound complicated.

I have requested these before but it has been a while so lemme just: Conker from Conker's Bad Fur Day or Soma Cruz from Castlevania Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. Conker's gimmick could be that his B Button moves are, like in his game, "context sensitive" and change based on what would be best for Conker. Maybe dependent on his damage or lost stocks. Soma's gimmick could be that he starts of with an acceptable neutral special but it get's changed / enhanced when he takes a stock from an oponent, referencing his power to absorb the souls of his enemies and use their power himself. But for balancing it would get reset after losing a stock. Yes i know this gimmick is useless in single stock matches, that's why i said an acceptable neutral special as default.

Alternate Final Smash option: Ten of the tasks from Among Us appear randomly on the map. Each individual player, aside from the Impostor (Also ignores other Impostors if multiple are present), will have a random selection of Five tasks to do. Two Crewmates will also be summoned. This will be considered a longer Final Smash; If a player, ignoring Impostors, does not complete all five of their tasks within twenty seconds, The two summoned from the final smash alongside any already summoned Crewmate will gain three strikes of suspicion towards that player. If only one player fails to complete the tasks, All crewmates will gang up on the one player and eject them, and if one was previously summoned will result in three of them at once. If two players fail to complete tasks, One of two things will happen; If two Crewmates exist, one will go after each player. If three exist on the other hand, The Impostor will gain a red overlay on one of the players, and gets to manually help the lone crewmate eject the highlighted player. This is started by using the Grab key during the smash, and will result in slightly further distance than if two regular Crewmates ejected the player. HOWEVER, If the impostor doesn't help to eject the player, The summoned crewmates will grow suspicious of the impostor as well, and attempt to eject the impostor. If three of them fail, Either the three summoned crewmates will each go after one, or if only two are present the Impostor is given a target to eject similarly to before. Four or more failing to do tasks will summon additional crewmates equal to the amount failing -1, with the impostor always being given the option to eject. As for the possible tasks, there would be: Inspect Samples, albeit reduced to only 15 seconds. If given, It's recommended to start first, and return to it last. Wires, which is only two to fix and in one spot. Three Wires locations are present. Card Swipe, and yes it's just as frustrating as in Among Us (Although a bit more lenient) Water Plants, which Villager can complete from a distance by using the tree Dress Mannequin, albeit simplified (One section to grab clothing from) Med Scan; If a Crewmate sees you completing the task, you are automatically cleared for that Final Smash, regardless of what other tasks are done Prime Shields; Similar to Med Scan, any Crewmates who see the task finish will clear the player, however they must be present at the End. Provides two seconds of immunity once finished Divert Power, where the second half is always on a different platform, but never more than two seconds away from the start.

However, if he had to a gimmick or limitation, his moveset could only make use of 6 of the pins from the game. As if he had a gimmick, you could maybe swap out those pins, but personally just having them as a moves like forwards air would be fine. Maybe though it could have it so that attacks fill up a meter for a special or team attack like in the game?

You should do Kamek, I have some special move, final smash, and alternate costume ideas, Neutral B: Magic Blast, if midway charged, you fire 3 blasts, and if fully charged, you fire 5 blasts, similar to a boss fight against him. Side B: He’ll ride on his broom similar to Wario, Bowser Jr, and Steve. Up B: He’ll do a tornado spin upward and can be slightly angled left and right, Kamek has spun like a tornado before, and it’s more improvised than a teleport. Down B: He’ll do a move similar to Meta Knight’s, he will teleport slightly to the left or right, and can let you get behind the enemy easily. Final Smash: He’ll swing his wand forward and if hit, you’ll be sent into a cinematic with Peach’s Castle being lifted into space, and the enemy is on the ground and he fires a magic blast at them and it launches them into space, it has a lot of knock back. Alternates: Purple and pink/Kammy Koopa, Red/Brainwashed Magikoopa from Seven Stars, Dark purple and red/Kamella, Green Kamek & White Kamek/Dream Team boss recolors, Light blue and light purple/Yoshi’s Island, Fuzzy Kamek/Yoshi’s Crafted World. Honestly, 2 years ago and I didn’t see how good this was, but this is actually a really cool move set. Is it really hard to implement, and possibly buggy if it was? Probably. But it’s really good in concept and it gives the exact feeling of playing an impostor in among us. This entire moveset and the impostors gimmick is ALL risky. It’s all about timing, preparation, and so much on the spot planning. It’s scary, stressful, and intense while also being incredibly fun. This is reflected perfectly with this character. How it’s main gimmick is something that can be entirely self-destructive. How everything can backfire if done wrong or not done well enough. It’s really good. This is why I love this series, it’s so good at innovation and it’s not afraid to go in some wacky directions. It’s especially appealing to me as I’m a fan of those creative gimmicky characters that add an extra new layer of strategy to the game.

I had an idea for an among us move set. For the tilts and the aerials, you play as the crewmate trying to do their tasks, and failing. (For example Failing card swipe and hitting opponent or mismatching wires which shocks the opponent) for the smash attacks, the imposter pops out behind the crewmate from a vent, and tries to kill the crewmate, but the crewmate steps back to do an upload. The imposter would miss and hit any opponents. These would be slow and have a lot of start and end lag, but would do a lot of damage. The specials would be a mix of crewmate moves and imposter tools, will a kill button neutral b, (doing serious damage on a cooldown) a report button side b, (any opponents hit take damage and it lowers the kill cooldown, lots of end lag if you miss, because if you report a body with no one there, you’re gonna look suspicious) A venting up B where the imposter drags the crewmate into a vent that leads to up to 2 vents that can be placed on the stage, and a Sabotage down b that does several things depending on the sabotage. (Pulls up a menu, O2 sabotage is up, Reactor is side, lights is down. This causes a big damaging hit box in said direction, but it has a cooldown like the kill button, but it’s longer. The report button also lowers this cooldown.) The final smash has the imposter accuse the hit player, and the crewmate you play as and several others agree with them. Your opponent gets voted out, and while the other crewmates watch this happen, the crewmate you play stands near the button while the imposter laughs behind him. If the hit player is over 100%, they are instantly ko’ed. The alts could be a mixture of the among us colours (There will have to be a repeat as there are 15 colours.) and the different costumes. The stage could really be any of the among us maps, or it could be like the Minecraft world stage where it’s random but the layout is the same.

3:11 Issue with this, assuming every alt is a different color, eight player smash would be impossible with this. It could have the robotic hat on it, which represents it being a CPU. And, I would make it a sort of command grab, like Ridley side special, just going straight forwards and grabbing anyone in it's path.

In my very low-effort moveset I chose for the Up Special to be the Emergency Meeting button. It has a cooldown, and resets *everyone* to the place they were at when the match begun. It can save you, but use it at the wrong time and it might save your opponent. You can use it to rescue a buddy but you must be shrewd with timing it or you might just get locked out of doing so in a critical moment... just like the games! I love what you did with it, though! The whole moveset is such a fun concept.

Imagine this: Side tilt to start the hit stun, down tilt to launch opponent, up B to teleport where they are going, and this next one depends on where they are and how high of a percentage they are at. If they are at low percents you can hop out of the vent with a side smash into an up air, but if they are at high percents you can simply, after teleporting, use side tilt into down tilt again and then down air sweet spot them for the spike. I hope this makes any sense Lot’s of combo potential
