if the middle east never existed humans would have never left Africa and have been stuck in Africa for around 190,000 years which is like 97% of the entire human history until around 7,000-10,000 when the first boats were invented. not only that but because there was no land bridge it's hard to tell how different the human history and even all modern species today would have looked like, neanderthals would have likely not exist at all because their ancestors left africa around 500,000 years ago and were evolved in asia and europe, there is a good chance that even primates in general wouldn't have existed. the only chance to leave africa that humans would have had is if some kind of storm/tsunami/earthquake which might of led some human species float across the sea to maybe spain, as far as I am aware there was no land bridge between spain and africa in the time humans existed.
