aren't those the guys leading the armies I assigned at the bottom? My UI was very small and I didn't realise I could scale it up until after recording so maybe couldn't see them very well in the video

Yea no they're the guys that lead multiple armies in an army group. A General leads an army and multiple armies can be grouped under an army group that's commanded by a Field Marshal. It just makes the front lines cleaner and makes it easier to organize the army as well

Love this video! When fighting with allies though, you can turn off their supply from your supply hubs in the supply map mode!

You can block your allies from getting supply from your hubs. Its the blue flag button when you are in supply mode.

Hold a strike force at a supply hub (use the defensive line) and use that to punch through to capture an enemy supply hub, and build rail lines to it if necessary. Rail lines much quicker to build than a new hub.

I'm learning so much already but gotta say this is probably the least intuitive of the paradox games. Not necessarily difficult to play but trying to figure out what the stats do, what units and divisions actually work and how to execute certain orders etc has required a lot of external reading

my guy, you can get the allies of your frontline, or atleast not take your supply. Select a supply hub and click on the blue flag. They literally added this change almost 2 years ago. But if you don't control the provinces/states, try asking for them. Otherwise try transport planes for supply.

Yea allies can be a pain. especially when they are on the enemy side. currently bogged down in a austria hungary campaign because the US and UK have like infinite manpower :P

@@MellowScot Short answer to just gotta do it. Long answer. Think about the history with the federation and the dominions without promising at least autonomy to the indians why would they accept being in federation where they would have no power as indians, So you have to offer that at least, before they would consider being part of somthing bigger as subjects when it should be as equals. I will mention it should be the last focus to do before the federation as it adds ticking up autonomy to india. for when you get around to doing the monarchist path. Hope i helped a fellow brit out a little. :)

You should check out the monarchist path for britain. its pretty fun tho if u have only like 100 hrs in the game, u might struggle a little. still a rlly fun path tho imo
