⁠@@bullymaguire632no and theres 2 main reasons. For one, the wormhole is permanently closed off so for the Time Machine, the timeline doesnt exist. And second, he could return to a timeline where he is about to leave but that would mean there would be 2 trunks’s. It still wouldn’t be HIS timeline which is what he wants to go back to. It also just creates bigger problems such as potentially screwing that version of Trunks timeline over as well.

So it’s not like he would come back after like ten years or something after spending that time in the past timeline. Space and time travel is complicated

As cool as that would be, it probably wouldn't happpen since The Saiyan Saga is supposed to be the last point in time when Gero's drones would have taken anyone's dna or captured footage of the Dragon Warriors. Which now that I say is a major plot hole considering Gero had Freeza's DNA but didn't know about Super Saiyan, but the Red Ribbon Army had footage from Trunk's fight with Mecha Freeza, so his drones were still around at that time so he sould have known about Super Saiyan. Unless I'm getting official canon and DBZA mixed up again.

Perfect Cell gets Super Perfect unlocked by Babidi. His DNA wont allow him to serve. He fights Dabura and Majin Buu is released. The supreme Kai, seeing no other option takes Cell to train. Breaks Sword->Ultimate Cell is unlocked. Buu eventually splits->Super Buu->Cell absorbs Super Buu; Big infusion of evil and having Cell power up->God Ki (Ultra Cell) Zamasu sneakily kills the Supreme Kai. Cell isn't really bothered just annoyed as he was still learning magic. "Zero Mortals Plan? You've piqued my curiosity!" Teams up with Zamasu and Goku Black. Cell unlocks Ultra Viõlèt and Goku Black gets Rosè simultaneously. Before ever traveling with the time rings. We're gonna need Beast Trunks & Gohan->Truhan, UI Goku, UE Vegeta, Orange Piccolo, and Broly. The first thing Zamasu does is kill Dende and the Namekian Elder; no pesky wishes. Could have a 'Tea Time' scene where Cell tells them about all the stupid Morty wishes made on the Dragon Balls, angering Zamasu and GB further. Zamasu upsets Cell and gets absorbed. Goku Black doesn't care; Goku influence as Zamasu was weak; Cell can use all of Zamasu's magic now.

@@abeyohando4976 Well depends on timing as at bare minimum cell with emerge around 1.5 to 2 years after Trunks destroys the androids and then lurk around until trunks attempts to go for a time to the past, so if Trunks manages to go back to the future at the half way more of the 7 year timeskip then PC will destroy earth

This is a very intriguing idea, trunks should train gohan in the HBTC or have goku train trunks and gohan in the HBTC while vegeta goes in with piccolo. It would also be great seeing trunks unlock ssj4 in later parts. Speaking of ssj4 you should do what if future trunks was in gt (have it be an original arc instead of the goku black arc)

I had some ideas for What ifs you could use in the future. What if Arale stayed with Goku?, What if Bulma stayed with Yamcha?, (This next one is a bit strange but would be interesting.) What if Zangya was redeemed, Or maybe a what if that covers the two other saiyan survivors that Toyotaro confirmed were alive in canon, Onio and his wife Honey.

Well at least the threat of Cell has been negated, although I'm curious to see if Present Cell will be left alone or not in the next part? 🤔 Since Gohan has been training with two SSJs and a Namekian that can keep up with a SSJ he should be able to tap into to SSJ during those 3 years of training. 👍 Maybe Future Trunks and Gohan develop a Master-Student relationship like what happened in the Future Timeline, but the roles are reverse here. 🙂 Anyways another really good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Hah my theory on how he gets stuck was true, in short the timeline is strained by there being two opening to two different futures, and one timeline is created by a time machine with already created timeline, great that my logic worked in a way which wasn't far from yours, now time to actually watch. Ohh wow we're speeding the Cell Stuff, and Androids will be no threat. I really can't wait for how everything will develop.
