Battle of Gods and the beginning of Dragon Ball Super would be quite different in this timeline. Remember, Beerus actually decided to destroy the earth because Buu took all the pudding, not because he couldn't find a super saiyan god. It was only after this that they offered to make it up to him by using the dragon balls to find a super saiyan god. If Buu isn't in this timeline, Beerus would have gotten his pudding and loved it, deciding not to destroy the planet because of all the great food. There would be no super saiyan God transformation because the threat would be gone so there would be no need to use the dragon balls. Beerus would be a bit embarrassed and annoyed about his dream being "false" though. Of course, it's possible that someone would still think of using the dragon balls to find out about super saiyan gods but even if they did the main threat of the story would be lost.

No I disagree that there would be absolutely no SSG in this timeline. Goku didn't decide to reach that form strictly out of a need to protect the planet he also wanted to get strong enough to fight Beerus (he does end up regreting how he reaches it) so I think he and Vegeta might still bribe Whis to train them and attain God Ki as Vegeta did . I think once Goku gets back to earth seeing Beerus was completely chilled out might try and push him into another match but would know he couldn't beat him still, I can see him either asking shenron to tell him how to become a SSG or asking Beerus to teach him which would be defeaulted to whis. If the former happens Beerus will want to fight as he's been looking for something interesting, if the latter Beerus may decide to fight Goku or Vegeta once seeing them get stronger through Whis. You are correct thought Battale of Gods would be different

I don't understand how Nappa and Raditz could be defeated by Cabba. You said they trained with Whis, meaning they likely has God Ki, and even if they don't, he should at this point have Super Saiyan 2 at least. So even if Cabba's base is equal to theirs (due to Cabba's base bein equal to Vegeta's and Vegeta being stronger so Raditz and Nappa should be around Vegeta's original base), Super Saiyan 2 should surpass Super Saiyan.

Trunks is also operating on the rule of not getting too involved with the time stream. Notice the only person he interacts with (on his first trip) is Goku. This is because the goal is to create a stronger Goku that still goes through his adventures while also having wide access to the heart medicine. He also instills a target on the RR Army so Goku doesn't show them much mercy. Remember on his first trip he is under the impression the timeline is linear and his actions could impact a lot of things in ways he doesn't want.

@@93Hexer Actually no. The Cell that comes back is from a separate timeline, which would be unaffected by Trunks's meddling due to multiverse theory. Also Gero might not have even survived in this timeline, meaning Lapis and Lazuli may have never been converted into Androids for Cell to power up on. It's also debatable if Cell would even wind up in this timeline to start with.

So this is a odd one ive been thinking of since the frieza saga what if goku convinced frieza to be good cause in the series there was a split second where he thought about what goku who had said but then squashed the thought like a bug but what if he didnt

Honestly, in this scenario, I think Goku would have bodied Freeza, even if he went into his final form; all without going SSJ. It would have been a fight, yes, but seeing as Freeza would have shown up to Earth, Goku would be able to see his first form, and by this point be able to see the depths of his power. Knowing this, I do believe Goku would just body him in his first form. This Goku is far more serious and cautious, so it would make sense he wouldn't risk anyone dying, and just take care of the issue before it became a problem. That's just my thoughts on this, but good concept for an alternate timeline for the series. :D

What if Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation occurred as a result of the Spirit Bomb? Premise: Freeza is struck by Gohan and Krillin distracting him from killing Piccolo. Childish spoiled emperor he is; Freeza would blow up Krillin then and there. Struck in the heart at his friend's death, Goku hurls the bomb only seconds earlier than originally. Thinking the bomb is headed for him Freeza fires at it, his attack is absorbed, same as his death ball originally was, he then realizes the ball is angled at Goku, and thinks he's lost his mind. Despite pleas from King Kai, Goku absorbs the ball and inadvertently triggers a transformation; he'd either be a low level Ascended Super Saiyan, or just a much stronger Super Saiyan 1. Scenario proper: A stronger Goku fights a relatively uninjured Freeza and Namek does not have a gaping hole for Freeza to fire his planet killer at. Would a less fatigued Freeza handle his full power form more aptly, or would he pose little challenge to Goku? How does this affect the return to earth and the fight with KC, if there is one? Cyborg Saga, etc...?

one small thing; the androids would be much more powerful and aware of the supersayian transformation. there would be an escalation in the Android series and young trunks might see him self creating a monster he cannot defeat alone. the buu series would have also come at a more early period and we would have goku meeting vegeta for the first time while dealing with buu at the same time because he is a supersayian, in classic story telling; majin vegeta most likely will not survive the event and die before trunks is even born. All of this before even meeting freeza on namik, the freeza arc would have been very short but would raise everyone back to life with more focus on the broly event. after this the new androids would be revealed that were different and unlike anything trunks remembered due to a new timeline. everyone in this universe is a lot stronger.

I'm not so sure Gohan wouldn't train in this version since a more mature and powerful version of Goku would probably see Gohan's potential and would make Gohan train. As Goku would not have died at any point Gohan would have been much closer to his dad and would want to train with him to relate. Also I doubt Chichi would have had such a big issue with Gohan training because as I see it her biggest issue was wanting to have her kid stay safe after seeing her husband constantly hurt and even dead. As that would not have happened in this situation she would likely have been less strict and not as overprotective being a fighter herself.

mistakes: 1-> No Androids? Dr Gero had bugs studying Goku and fighters from far away... he even got cells from Freiza. Kmon, he was secretive and would still continue his plans... whats worst I think since Goku would be stronger then the Androids would be that much stronger and so would Cell. 2-> Gohan does no like to or want to study kuz its "in his nature". In DBZ he always tries to get away and do whatever not to study. I think he would still be a fighter, like in the normal story, but would be doing studies kuz pressured by his mother, like normally.

@@PlusUltraMan 1-> In dragon ball, there is NO dr. Gero. Goku never meets him and Ive rewatched the episodes plenty of times. He just suddenly is a thing in DragonBall Z. So unless Im missing something (I didnt have every manga). either way, when we do finally hear about Gero, the guy is dead anyways and made himself into an android... There is little information on him and who knows when and how he was made into an android and his secret lab is filled with mystery. Hell, cell is hidden under there with a computer working on him... so yea, I doubt a stronger Goku would change the turn of events of this mysterious scientist hidden away working on secret projects with spy bots, who we never see or meet in the red ribbon saga... 2-> His upbringing. Chi Chi made/forced him to study. I dont think any of this would change whether Goku is stronger or weaker. Im not saying Gohan is a wild reckless fighter. Hell, Goku nor Goten aren't like savage wild sayans, they are rather tame for sayans.... But I still dont think Gohans nature is to study. I dont think anything would change here. He'd still be Gohan, fighting and doing his thing, but his mom still force him to be a scholar. When Goten is born she even says at some point she wanted the first kid to be a scholar. Gohan still is a sayan and has that thing where he has hidden amazing powers and sense of adventure, but he def isnt constantly training like his dad. I still dont think he'd naturally be an all out schoolboy in an alternative timeline and hed still run off on adventures as he does in original timeline.

My personal theory is that Trunks set the time travel date himself. He wanted to kill Frieza to avenge Vegeta's humiliation and death on Namek. Throughout the saga I always see Trunks desperately trying to make his father proud and carrying out his father's life work would be a way to do so

Nappa is getting older and starting to lean away from fighting( this is something I couldn't elaborate on in the video) Raditz would probably have a lot more interest in his family around this time as Goku and Vegeta continue to leap past him. Around the time they fight Cabba I wouldnt place either Nappa or Raditz at the base power of Vegeta during that tournament. Though afterwards I imagine theyd have some more motivation
