There’s a comic where he does find out the empire is taking part in the slave trade, if I remember correctly he confronts Palpatine but then it’s calmed by his explanation.

He didn't like it but accepted it publicly. There was a case in EU where Vader overheard a commander talking about slave-transports. Vader did not sleep nor meditate that night. He confronted the Emperor on the issue the day after, in which he gaslighted him and sugarcoated the issue. However, in both continuities, he utterly despised it and whilst the Emperor wouldn't let him do something about slavery he did everything in his power to undermine it when he could and showed slave traders and slave owners no mercy. It was subtle acts of rebellion.

Why do I have the feeling that the mere idea of Vader snapping after finding out the empire sold slaves would not only give the Sith a run for their money but is also a very bad thing for everyone involved…specifically their enemies. Plus it’s nice to see an amazing ‘what if’ centered around Vader essentially no longer taking shit from Palpatine and the Empire for still using slavery as a new alternate route to taking down Palpatine because for some reason it just makes sense for this to happen because I always felt that Vader is one of the strongest characters in SW history and is just so beneficial in so many ways and he would definitely conquer any challenge that’s thrown his way because his enemies wouldn’t stand a chance against a battle hardened warrior and it would fit perfectly well within the SW universe. Plus, who doesn’t love a good Vader adventure…afterall a badsass Force wielder who learns the truth and use it to become even more powerful is just so beautiful. Also Vader would make quick work of the slavers…and for some reason him completely wiping out slavery would be unique. Plus it would be very poetic for Vader -a former slave- to take down slavery ones and for all. He definitely took a page out of Daenerys Targaryen’s handbook for destroying slavery. Also the voice acting for Vader, Rex, Wald, Kitster, Tarkin, and Palpatine was just amazing. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

This is actually a very realistic story because that was always a very big sore spot with Anakin. He always resented the fact that he was a slave, and he legitimately felt that his master was going to bring peace, freedom, and security. If he came to discover that it was the opposite he would flip his shit and do everything in his power to destroy him.
