I believe that the surviving members of Ginyu Force (Jeice, Burter, Recoome, but not Guldo) will try to betray Vegeta and go straight to Freeza's side, this makes the Z have to fight in divided teams, Zarbon , Dodoria is the Cui healed by Dende VS Jeice, Burter is the Recoome still bruised and injured. The Guldo for being the weakest cower and stay out in the fights, however he helps by paralyzing two of his ex-companions, Freeza is irritated by the weakness and uselessness of the survivors of Ginyu Force and kills them at once (Jeice , Burter is the Recoome). The fight dries up with Freeza humiliating Vegeta Zarbon, Dodoria, Guldo is Cui, he says he will not forgive their betrayal, which gives Goku a chance to attack together with Krillin and Gohan. The advantage here is that Freeza is very distracted, and that way Goku has more time to form the Genki Dama / Spiritual Bomb, who knows, there is a possibility that Freeza could actually be killed with this attack by Goku in this scenario. The advantage here is that Vegeta will have several training colleagues much stronger than Goku and his friends, the potential of the alien races of Freeza's former soldiers is unknown, which will lead the Earth Z Warriors to having to force themselves to undergo much more rigorous training. After all if these creatures stay alive they and Vegeta will be an eternal threat to Earth, Goku himself can go to train with his friends for safety much earlier in the time and space room at Kami-Sama Palace (Seishin to Toki no Heya). Kami-Sama in all certainty together with Piccolo would force the human Z to train here.

You could maybe emphatize on what made Vegetas mind change like that in the next part. Maybe similar to Jiren Vegeta saw that trust, or at the very least having comrades behind your back isn't as bad after the Z fighters defeated him.

Oh no, he had no big change like that. He simply used them for his gain with no care about what happened to them in the end. Of course over time that will likely change.

that one's easy: given how cowardly Kui, Dodoria and even Zarbon truly are, especially while facing Frieza, they would simply pretend to shift loyalties for a brief while and simply betray Vegeta as soon as Frieza or even the Ginyu Force arrives ... even with the 4 of them, they are NOT taking down the Ginyu Force, much less Frieza ... even ignoring Guldo and his highly dangerous psychic abilities entirely, Recoome alone might still solo all of them. If by some miracle they manage to overwhelm Recoome somehow, Burter and Jeice would quickly finish them all off soon after ... assuming of course they manage to take Recoome down at all ... Vegeta, being the tactical combat genious that he is as Prince of all saiyans, knew this of course and that's why he chose to kill off all of them despite them begging for mercy or offering to join him in his quest to take down and overrule Frieza ... that and of course years of hatred and boiled up rage and humiliation that had to be compromised regardless ...

There main reason is because they are cowards. They give in easily just like they did in canon. Rewatch/read their fights with Vegeta in canon and you'll see what I mean.
