It's probably more than 'half' my friend. We humans, rightfully so, are skeptical about any intelligent alien lifeforms living around us. There may be microbial lifeforms living in the water on a couple of our moons like Europa or Enceladus but, they ain't gonna be flying down to visit us. I believe there may be other lifeforms in our universe but the universe is so vast, there is little chance that any alien lifeforms live anywhere near us.

Even if we find evidence of life elsewhere in the solar system, that doesn't necessarily bolster the case for life elsewhere in the universe. The solar system is so small that life on Mars or Europa could have come from the same source as life on Earth.

A key issue for me is that humans have only been around for about 0.02% of the Earth’s life. We’d have to hope and pray that we exist in the same timeline as other alien life. When we look at planets thousands of light years away weee looking at how that planet was 1000’s of years ago - not today. We can’t see other exoplanets with potential life in real time

I highly doubt any civilization even possibly reach Earth. Even if Aliens knew how to reach 99.99% the speed of light, it would still take them millions of years to reach us. Theres just no way its possible because of how far away we are from other planets and solar systems. The only way its possible if is they figure out how to teleport, which is most likely impossible in our Universe.

Life as we know it means Goldilocks zone but same could be said about the galaxy itself if there is a super massive black hole in the center of the galaxy, and in theory time slows down the closer to the black hole so aliens close to the black hole only 100 years could of passed in their part of the galaxy compared to use they aren’t event moving when we look at them we are on the outer part of the galaxy so we might be the only advanced spieces due to time

Both Olaf Jansen and Admiral Byrd technically discovered alien life way back then. When I use "alien" in this context, Im referring to something that is foreign, unfamiliar, or significantly different from our usual experiences or understandings, not necessarily extraterrestrial. I do believe in other intelligent life that's resided in the inner Earth which is alien to us technically. No way in hell Byrd and Olaf Jansen could be both lying about what they experienced especially coming from different times.
