I’m honestly torn between living in the prehistoric era versus living in the far future-deep space-travel era. On one hand, having no technology would be a good thing, but I would love to travel through space

So you don’t know if you would like to live in a time in which the average life span would probably have been 30. You’d have no medicine including antibiotics so any infection could be lethal. Child mortality rates were terrible. Had to hunt your own food and risk starvation. Lack of clean water, no sewage system or sanitation, etc etc the list goes on. If you still can’t decide then I don’t know what to tell you! You say no Technology would be a good thing. That’s easily resolved. Get rid of your mobile phone, computers, modern clothes etc 😀😀😀

Humans have always been "pack" or tribe animals. Individually we were definitely easy prey. But, we were not individual, we were a group. Hunters worked together. Set traps. Knew the habits and behavior of our prey, and the predators that might be foolish enough to attempt to hunt us. The predators were only successful when we were alone or lagging apart from our tribe/pack/group, or purposefully set up to be attacked. (You see this in more recent history in natives that by tradition actually in very old age wandered out alone to have a Polar Bear attack them.) We have been super adaptors with tools even before the last evolution making homosapiens.
