In order for humans to generate enough lift to take off, the wings themselves would need to have a wingspan of 6.7 metres...not even taking into account the wings themselves would be too heavy to actually fly with. And can you imagine how many doors you'd get jammed in? As for tails, they'd be only functionally useful if we needed extra balance for anything or needed a fifth limb in everyday life for some goddamn reason.

A completely impractical, theoretical (but fun!) question: what if you somehow successfully bored through from two diametrically opposite sides of the core to the point where the magma begins using a bore hole just a bit larger in diameter than the cores diameter....If you then forced a massive amount of air into one of the holes at high enough pressure, could you blow the core out from the other side along with much of the magma (creating the universes largest pea shooter)? Or would the bore hole not be able to withstand the pressure and and cause your experiment to fail in some way?

that's literally what brought me here. if we created a lab under the moons surface would the temperatures, gravity, and pressures be more earth like. according to this video, we could potentially create thermal energy from deep inside. I also disagree with being in zero gravity at the center of the moon because the density of the iron liquid would crush you.
