Instead of being taken out by piccolo's special beam cannon he's taken out by Destructo disk. He'd train with king Kai. Then he'd actually be equal to Vegeta by time he finished. After king Kai trains him and he recovers from his battle with Vegeta then whis sends him to supreme Kai. He trains with the z sword. Breaks it. Trains with elder Kai and gets his power unlocked. Kibito drops him off on namek he kills frieza and heads to yardrat after communicating with whis with telekinetic communication. Then he goes back to whis with instant transmission to begin training in earnest.

This is a good video but I do want to say some things first I don't think until goku is at least 20 he will be fighting whis because he can't touch him now so it would be useless training at a kid stage but he could make some dummie on goku's level to fight and second I don't think we would ever see a super saiyan goku because whis says it just uses stamina and is a waste so we would probably see something more on the lines of mystic goku I'm not sure if whis can teach it but he does know the supreme kais so its not impossible so his next transformation might just be ui or something more on the lines of broly's primal form
