My college classmate stole my phone and tried to pawn it in the only one of 3 pawn shops we had in our downtown area. My phone was locked so they wouldn’t take it. Before he came back to try to give it back I had already called campus police and my professor confirmed that he saw him by it while it was plugged up. He gave it back so I was going to let it slide but he threw away my sd card with1000 pics, and my chip so I couldn’t even use it. I called back to campus police and they asked my to press charges because they knew he was stealing stuff in the dorms but this was the first time they had direct info and witnesses to kick him out. He only had one semester left in college. I actually had students come up to me and thank me because he stole peoples money, phones, laptops.

FYI...That’s not a life insurance issue. Yes, get life insurance but that payout doesn’t come in time for the payment for disposing of your body whether it’s direct cremation, a funeral, etc. You have to have money set aside, and accessible to your family, that precedes the distribution of life insurance. You can’t get life insurance until you get the death certificate and you can’t get that until the coroner signs off and the disposal technician signs off. There is a delay in receiving life insurance of at least 2-3 weeks.
