I love Hexaghost so much! For me, it was definitely one of the most rewarding characters to learn, albeit it's also definitely one of the more convoluted characters.

@@xuklysc there is this one power that gives them a whopping 3 intensity every turn. When you ignite the infernal ghost fle, that translates into a whopping 18 extra damage for each turn passed. To ignite the infernal ghost flame, you need to use 3 energy. If the 3rd energy is spent on a card that ignites the flame, then you can turn it from a 4x6 into a 4x12 damage at base.

Really? Wouldn't it be better to just upgrade the card and actually use the Nightmare visions for something else? Just realized that you could just play it twice since it still has ethereal when you play it. Damn that's actually good.

Hexa is really really really fun. Getting the six seals is so rewarding, and it always feels like you're so strong but really you're only activating your ghostflames

My favorite thing in any Yugioh, is in Zexal. The main character starts having hallucinations of a giant demonic skull with a chained door in it's mouth, while a distorted voice offers him power in exchange for what he holds precious if he were to open the door. After having a few of these, he decides it's worth it if it helps him win a card game. He gets a weird blue ghost that follows him around and coaches him and the ability to make up whatever card he wants to draw Yugioh is madness but I could see an event like that in STS

I feel like Neow is way harder than the heart, if nothing else just because of the RNG in the fight. The Heart will always do the same things, always give you the same curses, and will always put you on effectively the same timer. Neow's adding of random really crippling curses to your draw pile is really awful, and she takes way longer to kill because of her healing, ensuring that you'll have to deal with her curses for a long time.

I can get why this character is hard to learn but for me by the time Frost fought the merchant I understood how their mechanic works, and it seems fun to learn how to work with advancing and retracting a flame where you want it and then igniting it. Definitely convoluted at times but I think they did a good job translating the boss move set into a playable format.

I really love all the downfall content. I think it’s a great mod that definitely adds a lot to the game. Personally I think the gremlins are the most complicated character to the point I just don’t pick them. Glad you’re having fun, keep up the good content

Hexaghost is probably the strongest of all the Downfall characters, but it takes a bit of getting used to in order to unlock that full strength 1:07:33 Time Warp is an S-tier Hexaghost card ... I get that you want to avoid hand clog, but it's really that good ... next time, please take two For a first try with Hexaghost to go all the way to Neow is downright impressive ... this character needs a couple runs to understand properly

IMO, if you have Blue Candle, curses that cost mana should be free. Especially since it triggers Blue Candle's effects. Mods that add curses with mana costs make Blue Candle significantly worse :(

@@DogmaticDreams I feel he's too skill-based, and if you ever get to the double stance, it doesn't matter what you anymore, you're getting all of everything for playing a 0-cost base skill. Feels kinda cheap

Hey when you come out with a video for The Hermit, could you do me a massive favor and use a thumbnail that looks like the "What if you had a GUN?" meme that looks like the poster for the movie 'Click' except with The Hermit's face edited on? I think that'd be awesome. The Hexaghost is kind of busted because the cards play themselves. Some of the Soulburn synergies and cards are pretty flaccid pass material. But Hexashield is dope. A lot of the complexity levels were skimmed off of the Champ in recent updates but The Hexaghost feels satisfying still. (EDIT: Crap they changed hexaghost again and I need to refine my opinion. They been tinkering like mad on these!)

I like this mod. Just recently did a slime boss with growth punch. By the end I had dupe so I was doing a minimum of 2 growth punches most turns. Getting 50 to 100 atk and block after several turns with a single card because of a mire slime keeping things slimy made it grand. Though I play rarely so I'm not sure how long until I get to this guy.

Yo frost, no way to know if you’ve already figured it out or not, but if you took the broken wing relic and find a cultist in a fight, he will leave, then the event that would give you the sac dagger will instead give you a cultist potion, sac dagger for free, upgrade it, and give you a free “kill” equating to a 20 DMG sac dagger+. At least in my runs it’s a permanent unlock, I’ve gotten the free sac dagger 3 times while only giving them the relic once.

The one constant thing I see Slay the Spire creators do is spam loot so fast we (the viewers) can’t see or read what the relics do. Unlike y’all, the creators we don’t know what all the relics do. I genuinely think the easiest thing to do is just slow down when it comes to looting just enough so we can pause the video to read it.
