Count your calories(eat 1,200cals) workout 1 hour and go on run or a walk for 1 hour eat only when you're hungry, avoid white bread, potato chips, sugar beverages, chocolate, basically all junks... Try eating more veggies& fruits. After losing the fat start eating plenty of proteins(ofc limiting the cals) such as eggs, avocados, nuts, Milk, meat(meat causes a tummy), chicken.... so you could build muscles, and when you build muscles your metabolism will be way faster. Do this for a year and reply to me back by telling me what happened💕! (Don't forget to drink 3L of water and it's ok to snack once a day if you're feelinghungry but make sure it's something natural). Btw eat protein with every meal bc it can boost up your metabolism and fix your digestion and it can fill you up for a long time i hope this helped!

***** This is not the way to spread veganism. You're being hateful, and THAT is the biggest problem in the world today. With your attitude you are sure to turn more people away from veganism than towards it. In fact, the attitude you display is how most non-vegans or even some vegetarians see vegans, and everybody hates such people, so you are doing your own community a big disservice. And no, nothing YOU say will turn me vegan. It is a personal and private choice, and if someone tries to guilt and hate me into it, I will make damn sure I will do the EXACT opposite, even if just to piss off people like you.

I've just completed my 1 week water fast! and this was my experience... Day 1-2: Feeling so hungry that I watch Food Channels on KZbin almost non-stop. Day 3: Feeling so 'Hangry" my dad yells at me for being mad all the time, which only made me more mad. Also, I felt a few small pains around my stomach a few times, and had gotten 3 random red/purple bruises out of nowhere. (Which is sometimes an effect caused by water fasting). Day 4: In the middle of the day, I suddenly feel no hunger whatsoever! My stomach stops hurting and I feel a lot more energy. I still mentally wish I could eat and could have a few junk foods but if you were to place something like a pizza in front of me I would not eat it. I feel I have a lot more self control, and even eating something small like a small salad would feel like a lot of food to me. Day 5-7: Still not feeling hungry whatsoever (only a little bit mentally), unfortunately my bruises haven't disappeared or lessened in color at all so I will need to go to the chemist and see if if I could get something to fix it. Day 8: I quit my 1 week fasting and I am eating only vegetables for at least 4 days to break my fast. *Warning*: Do not drink a cup of liquid that is something other than water on the very day that you break your fast (e.g. Thick Vegetable Soup) because 99% of the time, you will feel so much pain because your stomach has not recovered it's former natural amounts of Stomach Acid yet that it needs to digest regular/healthy food again. I had done this, and it felt my rib cage was tearing and I nearly puked and felt I was going to pass out! That's why I recommend that you break your fast slowly over a period of 4 days, with green vegetables like pickles and cucumbers. So yes, I was very lucky that I didn't experience any severe symptoms from my Water Fasting experience. But I am sure that was because, prior to my first ever Weekly Fasting I had already been growing used to the Fasting experience for at least 2 weeks. For 2 weeks I had fasted for at least 3-4 days per week. It seems as though, most people commenting below had only suddenly started a 7+ day Fasting which will hit you a lot harder than gradually getting used to Fasting. Furthermore, it was also a lot easier for me to achieve since I am an overweight person so people who are at their regular BMI will (on average) have more unpleasant symptoms occur during a water Fast. But now I will reduce the amount of days that I fast each week because, if you eat too little calories/fast too long... you may loose a lot of weight at first but then your Metabolism will decrease over time (especially after a 4-6 month period of severe diet restriction). And so, it'll be a lot harder to loose weight over the long term. I personally was only in a rush since, I have type 2 diabetes and if you become less than 220 Pounds (100 Kg's) and you are of a young age... there is a chance, that you can actually loose your type 2 diabetes. + Fasting can help decrease or even get rid of some conditions/illnesses (to an extent) and now I don't have (mild) eczema anymore! From this 7 Day Fast I had lost 15 Pounds (7 Kg's), but half of that was actually just water weight. (This happens with every 7 Days+ Fast.) So once I start breaking my Fast and eating vegetables again, I will become 7.5 Pounds (3.5 Kg's) heavier which is fine to me because weight loss needs to be realistic in order for it to work. I will keep dieting and eating healthy until I reach my goal, and I wish the person reading my comment that they will also have a healthy and happy life also. :)

I had anorexia for a long time and didn't really stop eating fully but then got to fed up I started eating 200 cals every other day or twice a week and now I'm currently in a pediatric ward and my heart rate was 25-30 bpm and my body started eating its heart muscle 😕 hopefully I'm getting released soon though! I only have to be hooked up at night to a heart monitor because they say it still drops at night, I know this may seem competitive if you are also suffering but it isn't worth it and your weight isn't the issue, I'm missing out and have been missing out on so much and when I look in the mirror I still think I look the same, I know I've gained weight I can no longer see my ribs but I've realized being happy isn't going to happen by being 90 pounds or 130 pounds I will, never be happy if I think its gonna happen by being the smallest in the room.. my family makes me happy, waking up in the morning and running downstairs to my aunt makes me happy, and dancing, and going and playing in the snow, and playing tag, I'm not even 14 yet and I don't want to look 50 by the time I'm 20... anorexia ages you. But moral of the story is being thin is not worth losing your spark and your weight is not the most interesting thing about you. :)

Btw if you're scared of food, and your dream body is to be REALLY REALLY skinny and thin it's okay alot of people's dream body is like that. But the importance is that you make sure you eat protein, grains, fiber, plenty of water, carbs and a tiny amount of fats.

I fasted twice for 28 days each time, once intentionally, once not. I was very sick and had no desire to eat but drank a cup of water every 2 days and was in bed 22 hours at a time. The second time I took one multi-vitamin every day and 1 quart of water. It's incredibly do-able. Shrug. I'm not sure most people can last over that though, as I myself felt death itself coming towards the ends of each time. The second time was done intentionally because the military branch I was in said I needed to lose 50 pounds in 33 days because my wife, who was also military, would be sent to a remote location without me and I wouldn't be able to see her for 2 years. I lost 58 pounds because she was worth dying for. It's do-able.

you forgot to mention when the body is in ketosis, the ketone bodies created from fat can be used by the liver to create new glucose for the body's need (such as for the brain) in the process called gluconeogenesis. It is only after the body has no fat stores to create ketone bodies that the body will start cannibalizing itself by breaking down protein for fuel. This is when you're literally starving to death.

Sorry I just dumped a load of middle-class first world problems out on you, but thanks for reading.
@alexanderelsen93974 жыл бұрын
Depends how much stored fat you have, pretty sure as long as you take the essential vitamins and stay hydrated if you have the fat reserves you'll be fine. You say you'd also need glucose but this is made by the liver in a process called glycogenolysis which turns glycogen into glucose as long as you have fat reserves you'll be able to make your own glucose.
@emilyf9288 Жыл бұрын
i know this is an old comment, but as someone in ed recovery (and considering how many people with ed's are in this comments section) and a chem major i feel like i should correct this. glucose is made via gluconeogenesis*. glyconeogenesis makes glycogen stores (which is a short-term storage form of glucose). you will absolutely NOT be okay if you survive on fat reserves. gluconeogenesis alone does not provide enough glucose. if it did, why would humans need to eat as often as we do?? why would normal hunger/fullness cues exist if gluconeogenesis is enough? additionally, surviving on fat stores alone makes you lethargic and ruins your metabolism if its done for an extended period of time (like, more than a few days/weeks). the keto diet (which is what a no-carb diet is formally called) is only recommended in very extreme cases of epilespy in kids, when medications are not working. the reason for that is it slows down brain function, so theoretically it can help prevent seizures if normal meds are not working. something only recommended for extreme epilepsy cases will be incredibly harmful for the average person, please don't do this

KingMacintosh Not necessarily. Diabetes is the latest medical witch hunt. Medics can perform extra unnecessary testing and send otherwise healthy folks to "lifestyle" classes--all of which means bigger buck$ for the medics. Furthermore, there's a mythical tie in between up and down glucose and blood pressure. There is absolutely no correlation between the two. READ ON! Thus, people with glucose of 100 to 145 are scared to death by the medics. Glucose or "blood sugar" typically bounces around in normal people from around 145 to comfortably below 100. They KNOW that spurious glucose risings and falling is no more dangerous that labile blood pressure that typically bounces between 140 and 120 for most human beings and that will not cause strokes. Prisoners who were jailed and nearly starved by the Nazis came out in better health than when they came in. Alas, they were thereafter caught up in a new lifestyle and grew fat and sassy and subject to heart disease and diabetes.

@sweevydad52843 жыл бұрын
For people who are interested this was my experience eating nothing for a whole week : first 12 hours were really hard . Couldn't shake the hunger off and was forcing my self to sleep most of the first day . After 24 hours I started to get the hang of it . Urinated alot but didn't poop for the whole duration. Third day I started noticing feeling really fatigue. Alot of times I found my self almost falling from feeling dizzy whenever I'm walking for a long time . 5th day was feeling OK I had pain in my sides but decided to ignore that . At the 7th day (the day I broke my fast) I literally and physically and mentally could not get out of my own bed and felt as though everything is in slow motion . Had to call my brother and told him to bring vegetable soup and some essential vitamins . My starting weight was 95 KG and my height is around 178 CM . My result was 75 KG after a week . But the thing is after a month from that experience I gained all of my weight even though I didn't eat any fast food or fried food only boiled and BBQ and weighed around 112 KG . Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy

Better? There are better people than you? What makes you inferior? You are inferior to no one! Look at it this way, if you had 2 million in the bank, would you feel anyone is better than you? It's called empowerment, knowing you are just fine and if someone doesn't care for you, screw em', who cares? I don't. Get obnoxious and enjoy life and kick those negatives out of your life. I’m sorry
@lhaegreenleaf5 жыл бұрын
We’ve met before I’m late to this but imma try to explain it. Basically, we don’t know why lmao. When you have an eating disorder it’s hard to know what will trigger you. The reason is your brain is so sick that it twists everything to try and make you relapse. Someone can say something to me as simple as “you look a lot healthier” and my eating disorder brain would turn it into something like “wow healthy? That means you’re getting fat. Time to starve yourself more!!!” For me personally, I know exactly what I’m doing to myself. I know all the science behind it and I know that it doesn’t do anything beside harm me but I can’t stop and it gets to a point of me wanting to keep going because I KNOW it hurts me. It makes you fall in love with self sabotage.

he was really overweight, so it's really depends on person's weight. this video is partly very wrong. a person can surive without food 40 days feeding off from the fat in their body and only then your body starts eating muscle after its uses all of fat stores
@toproudtooadmitmitsake18426 жыл бұрын
He also was not truly starving, he was given supplements throughout which stopped his body needing to canabalise his own heart or his amount system to fail. If the average person stopped eating today regardless of how obese they were, they would die within 70 days. He had top scientists monitoring his body and what it needed to keep functioning whilst still burning fat.

I’m diagnosed with anorexia nervosa and not eating for a long time doesn’t only result in a loss of a period: yellow-ish skin, dizziness, lack of energy, cold limbs/feeling constantly cold (because the body doesn’t find it necessary to use energy to heat up the body), taste of acid (even if you don’t p*rge), very low/high heart rate, constipation (I lived off of laxatives once a week for a long time), dry skin (even if you’re staying hydrated), insane mood swings, depression, and many more, depending on each body. Please take care of yourselves, I’d rather be happy than starved and depressed

Sara Pop fasting kills off cancer by not allowing it to have nutrients. Normal body cells are able to go into survival mode and slow metabolism down, where cancer cannot. So it basically just starves itself to death 🙂

Starvation mode only happens if your body is running out of fat. Normal cells in the body are able to cope with the fasting stress and are protected with HGH and others. The cancer cells are not. Autophagy at it's best!

After about 7:30, I feel very satisfied, and much more alert than I did when I ate breakfast (to achieve the fast, I just skip breakfast). I drink one cup of coffee and a glass of water, and then I'm good. You should try it; not only have I lost body fat, I've gained muscle.
