I have a great appreciation for your statistical analysis and I am hoping you can clarify something. @5:45 you say "large institutions with large amounts of business to do are going to do it during the cash session when the volume comes in. They are not going to do it in the middle of the night." I wholeheartedly agree with this however it seems to contradict your first statement @3:22 when you say "the way to think about a wide ranging initial balance is that most of the business for the day has already been done ". I am wondering if your first statement might more accurately be revised to say "much of the price exploration for the day has already been done ".

great video... thank you. this made so many things more clear. what would be a reasonable IB for CRYPTO? the session starts at UTC0 so basically asian session... thats where i get my IB from at the moment but i have the feeling i could tweak this as i trade mostly the EU and US session. could you guys please share a few thoughts on that?

London Time = IB´s = (Sydney: 22:00) (Tokyo: 00:00) (Euro: 7:00) (London: 8:00) (New York: 14:00) that´s it?

You are wrong about wider initial balance leading to less movement. Its actually quite the opposite. Check out NQ every time a large IB sets up and if you can guess the direction its always a VERY large move. It depends more on whether volume is there or not. If there is volume expect a larger move, if not then business is done and no need to trade

Check SP500 today: 26th Aug 2020. Also, yesterday and the day before. My findings: Small IB and big moves on these days. 👌

I appreciate what you are saying, and I suppose it depends on the market, but I can't believe that more volume would ever be done overnight then during the regular trading hours Cash session.
