I don’t think it was meant as an insult. But when my doctor said that I was getting too old to be so fat. He wasn’t wrong. I was at 298lbs.

Ive had a minister that travels and his main thing he is known for is encourage people to keep volunteering and worship god. He came up to me and told me that i dont belong in God's congregation. ( For the record i have been volunteering for over ten years in various ways. Learning a foreign language to help immigrants, assist elderly and disabled, volunteer hurricane relief, etc.) Still hurts that a man that i use to look up to as a man of god says i will leave the congregation and he wouldn't be surprised.

@@nataliep501 yeah, I use to look up to traveling ministers. It's bad enough I have a step parent that is always disappointed at me. It made me question am I a Christian, or just some punk that tries to look good.

8:45 same here. I'm really introverted, and the last place I worked (stopped 3 years ago) they took it as arrogance, like "hmpf, he rarely replies and if he does, it's always only a couple of words. He's so stuck up and full of himself..."

I was helping my brother in law fix the roof. He had tarps on top weighed down by bricks and i picked them up to move them. He told be careful, with the added weight of the bricks you might fall through the roof. That was 2 weeks ago and I've already lost 5 pounds

Wasn’t exactly a particular insult but I used to be a bad person, did some unforgivable things. When the truth came out, I got harsh earfuls from a couple people and lost friends. That’s when I decided to turn my life around. 4 years of self reflection later, I make much better choices.

In middle school i had done some perverted things. Which i m definitely not proud of but the worst insult i ever gotten was a girl who said something to the effect of "You will forever ve the ugliest guy to ever live". This was said 2 weeks before we graduated from middle school. After graduating from high school I saw the same girl in a hallway at college when she said hi to me I walked past her. For a few years she tried reaching out wanting to apologise , I just never bothered to mend the fence because it was true. What she said felt like I got stabbed in the chest it was the worst insult I ever dealt with and since then I never recovered worse part is I tried changing in my 20s and had come to a realization . I will never get married not because I don't want to but women will never find me attractive.

My daughter told me "walk fricking properly, you are ex army". I do drag my feet and the one time I was wearing thongs(flip flops, we aussie) at the mall the screeching/squeak sound was like finger nails on a blackboard. I am always conscious of this now.😮

Maybe its genetic, my cousin and friends were telling me i walk weirdly, so i tried so hard to walk "normally" and it ended up being weird either way. Later my mom told me a story of how one of my grandpa recognized my father on the street while never meeting him, when my father asked how he knew my grandpa was his father he said "the way you walk". I stopped trying after that and was pretty proud of the way i walk, and my little sis who's 5 now also walk the same way, never noticed but it was my friend who told me this.
