Yes! This song deserves way more attention then it gets. This was their first album I remember being released and have loved it ever since! Dream Theater did a great cover of this too.

One of IRON MAIDEN'S most underrated songs, Piece Of Mind is an awesome album, with amazing standout tracks, for me this is one of them, would have been amazing to hear it live.....

Have a look for some bootleg vids from the World Piece tour; they do play it a few times. Search for "iron maiden" "world piece tour" "to tame a land"

6:52 that was a clear homage to Albeniz (Asturias!).

i think you'd really enjoy a couple of songs from the seventh son album. 'The Evil that men do' and 'infinite dreams'. both incredible for different reasons

My favorite Iron Maiden album. You were right that Iron Maiden wanted to name this song Dune by Frank Herbert but he was a dick, besides not liking heavy metal, Herbert died in 1986. The song contains many seemingly senseless words, including "Fremen," "Caladan," "gom jabbar" and "Muad'Dib." All of these were derived from the science fiction novel Dune, and make sense in the context of the story. Singer Bruce Dickinson did, understandably, mispronounce some of these words. This is the last track on the album and the longest at 7:26 min.

I think you’re the only person to react to this on KZbin. I could be wrong, but if I am, there certainly aren’t many reactions to it on KZbin. Thanks!!!

Maiden's best album (with Bruce). (I still think Killers is their best all time album) This song gets under-reacted to. Think I'll listen to this album today on the way to work. Fun reaction.

Their best work imho is pre Bruce, however Bruce carried on to create the best metal band in my opinion.

Also Kelly, pretty much all of Iron Maiden's song are about an important historical event that has happened in history at some point. But the video/song 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' that i sent you is actually about a man being sent to the gallows to be hanged and he is looking back on his life. Thanks. ~Brian~ White Bear Lake, Minnesota 🤘🤘
