I don't think the 1st guy is that dumb. English ain't his first language obvs, he heard "what is 0 times" and he thought my man was talking about timezones. That's why he mentioned Greenwich observatory, cause GMT is the local mean time at the Greenwich observatory and it's counted from midnight. He probably thought the question was something like "What is the timezone counted from 00:00" where Greenwich would've been the correct answer. So I think he's probably somewhat smart but there's a language barrier.

The first guy from India based on the question you asked was perfectly correct, however you didn't understand the answer because you expected something else. It was a confusion of the question that made him answer the question accurately but based on the question you asked him. He based his answer on what is zero time, time zero zero time. He was correct on all counts. He explained where zero came from and how it relates to time and how time relates to the GMT. But you seemed confused.
