Lag time is related to the connection type, 5g provides higher download/upload speeds due to higher bandwidth, but latency will still be there, simply because of the physics of light.

Well ping is ping .. distance is distance !! Lightspeed is 300.000km/S = 300km/1ms ping ..! (1000ms=1S) So low latency has nothing to do with 5G .. thats just a fact!!
