Having 19" wheels limits your choice of front struts.
@latemodelrestoration Жыл бұрын
If the 19" wheels have the correct offset and backspacing, you'll very rarely have an issue with a factory or factory-style aftermarket strut. Where wheel choices become limited is when the offset and backspacing are not correct. -Landan

True. The 10 was certainly not a complete exterior restyling of the 05-09 like the 94 was for the fox body. However, they made the 10 styling worst with that squish back end and that terrible black cladding. Ford should have stuck with the 05-09 styling and did more subtle changes similar to what dodge did with the challenger.

@@newfie-dean5803it was just a refresh just like 18 was for the s550 and 99 was for the sn95 and 87 was for the fox. Sn95 and fox were two different platforms

@@newfie-dean5803I like the contrast of the "terrible black cladding" the 07-09 gt500 got that styling and all 10 up mustangs inherited said styling. That part of the car just gets beat up and dirty anyways who cares if it's body color? It's more user friendly with the black plastic at the bottom. Looks really good with a cdc front splitter.

As an owner of the a 2010, I like owning a bastard year mustang. Yes, coyotes are faster, and pretty much 90% of the owners are little pee pee douche bags, but I love my cammed 3v. 3v sounds better, and 350hp to the wheels is plenty to have fun. I dont drag race, that is boring so straight line speed and HP mean nothing to me. Even living in a town of 1500, there at least 30 coyote cars here, and maybe 5 3v. And mine gets the most attention. The 2010 v6 had the same puny front brakes as the 05-09 v6 regardless of wheel package. The 2011-2014 v6 had the same size front brakes as the GT models, even the brembo packages were still standard sized GT brakes on the v6. 2010 shared the same drive shaft length as the 05-09 but 11-14 were longer due to the piece of shit MT-82.
@2011Transformersdotm Жыл бұрын
Faster but not big difference although 100hp more and 2010 gt isn’t slow at all. Many Coyote owners act like they are the fastest and have an ego problem. I own a 2010 gt and I’m happy that I chose the 3v over the coyote, people get attracted to them more and 5.0 sounds nothing compared to 3v.
@Odin3v Жыл бұрын
@@2011Transformersdotm 3v also has a much better torque curve, and the 3650 is a better trans even though its a 5 speed vs the POS MT-82. I can keep up pretty good with a 1st gen Coyote, while sounding alot better.

@@Odin3vwhy do people act like the only choice is between 3v and coyote. People say they like the power curve and sound of the 3v more well guess what? There's another option that has the same old school sound the 3v has (only better) has a wicked torque curve also (only better) and you can get them in either early s197 or 2010 style. It's called a 5.4 gt500. You can have all the things you like about the 3v (only way better) but have potential close to modern coyotes and better than gen 1 coyotes. Not sure why more people in that way of thought don't go with gt500s. It's almost like they forget that's even an option. I love my 07 it's got a gen3r and arh long tubes it's nasty as hell. Has a way better trans than either 3v or coyotes. Also before you say they're crazy expensive not always. Bought mine in 2020 clean title for 16500 with just over 100k. I've seen them even in the last year similar for just over 20. I seen a really nice one recently w only 30k for 28. That isn't bad at all. They can make 600+ to the wheels with a stock blower and 800+ with a blower swap and fueling. Gt500 ftw
@Odin3v9 ай бұрын
The cost between a GT500 and a GT is 20k on avg, and insurance is nearly double, even when your above 25. So idc really. The avg mustang owner cant afford a shelby. So that is a prety stupid point. @@midnight347 And it is extremely easy to swap a T6060 trans into an 05-10 GT for about $1200. Shelby owners are 10000% worse then coyote owners towards others on avg. So why would anyone wanna be a snob?
