in that car the cts controls the water pump as well??? i have the same bmw and is overheating.

Short answer, yes, but computer gets information from many sensors including CTS. If your car is overheating because of a CTS it should of thrown a code if it were that bad.

@@motorcarnut I replaced the CTS and looked at wiring everything seems fine and looks like it’s reading the correct temp but throws up the code when driving but at idle it doesn’t throw it up
